You should listen to your fellow UT fan....Criminoles???? So Jeff Luc, and Christian Jones are criminals cause last time i checked ya'll are recruiting them too? Lol or is it the fact that you guys lost out on them and now you come up with some stupid flame to make you feel better?

Honestly, I think FSU can turn their defense around..... As all non-delusional FSU fans will agree, their defense was bad. However, if they go to a 3-4 with Jones as a rush linebacker, and Luc and Bradham in the middle (forgot if he played outside or middle). They could also land Lemonier, and have to sick corners in Joyner and Reid so they definitely have a good chance to turn their D around..... That being said, its nice that they are starting to recruit well again because yes they will steal players from us, but there are some kids that wont leave the state at all because of distance. That being the case, UF won't snatch all those up anymore....

I agree with Penn on the fact that I think Jimbo Fisher will be a horrible coach. He will put a staff around him though that will recruit well and bring in talent especially being in Florida. Luc, Jones, and Joyner is a huge recruiting class on the defensive side of the ball and this is year one. I think FSU has the potential to dominate the ACC. That being said, I do not think they will because you can have all the talent in the world, but you still have to coach them up. The talent is there at FSU right now, I promise, but those guys haven't had someone good coaching them in years with the three headed monster of Bowden, Andrews, and Fisher.

The whole coach in waiting thing was extremely dumb. They could have gotten somebody like Jon Gruden (imo he would have been interested) or someone who is more proven and more capable than Jimbo.

What I am basically saying is Pride and Penn both had good points, you guys just need to meet in the middle.

I for one thought this kid was UT bound. Im happy for the kid where ever he may end up. I hold no grudges against him or anyone else that doesn't pick UT after all its their decision. I'm just glad hes not in our conference.

what is all the hype on the boards lately about FSU.... they are the team team (under Bowden) who was invited to the SEC and decided to rather joing the ACC..... Spurrier used to tell the joke.... Why did the Chicken cross the road,........ to get to the ACC... ha ha.... They had a chance to compete with the best and was afraid.... Free Shoes University

come on guys the acc is not that bad.....:eek:...teams like virginia,duke,maryland,and nc st make it look bad...but vt,gt,miami,clemson and unc are solid teams...fsu just had a bad year....but i hate the acc to be honest...the was the dumbest move miami made..

GT and Clemson played for the ACC Championship. Please see the UGA-GT game and the USCjr-Clemson game. The elite of the ACC are just whipping posts for middle of the pack SEC teams...

ACC isn't really that bad.

Its probably the 3rd best conference or 4th at worst.

What makes it look sorta bad I think is the pretty drastic dropoff between the top (who in general are good, but have never been truly elite) and the bottom, which is terrible.

I do think that in a few years though, the ACC has the potential to jump the Pac 10 for second best conference pending on Miami and FSU getting back to even a shadow of their old selves, with a little bit of improvement from the bottom which seems likely with Cut at Duke, a new coach at UVA, ..etc

yea i saw the gt/georgia and clemson/usc game..i could care less how they do as long as miami wins...but the acc is not that bad as ppl say...sec is king and i know...big 12 second and acc third in my book...

Not quite sure why everyone thinks Jimbo is a horrible coach. He turned our offense around this year, with pretty average talent. It was going to take a couple years to see any change because of how bad Jeff Bowden destroyed our O. He is bringing in solid coaches and great athletes to turn our program around. Jimbo wont have much say with the D which is why he hired 2 DC. All the haters are to busy living in the past 6 years with FSU, we will be back.....The coach in waiting was a great idea and the reason why we will have a top 5 recruiting class.
