Kentucky is headed to Cancun for the "Cancun Challenge", as everyone knows. Challenge could not a more fitting word IMO, as the team is literally playing in a ball room with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and folded chairs in rows beside the court. This confirmed by the hundreds of UK fans down there, wondering WTF is going on. At least you guys (UT) got to play in a decent gym. Also, snippets of the "gym" can be seen at the below link.

So big thanks to Tequila Bill for scheduling this awesome tournament. Of course when he committed to it, I'm sure he was planning on being at the beach sipping on mimosa's. lol

That's ridiculous. Whoever booked that should be fired, or rehired and then fired again.

I think UK fans would love to rehire CBG then fire him again and leave him in Mexico.

I guess the UK trainers are worring about how to treat rug burn about now.

They say that the wall behind each basket are only like 4 or 5 feet away, like an old elementary school gym. John Wall has already slammed into the goal post padding with his head, and flipped over two scorer's tables. I'm not sure I want to see him meet a concrete wall.


My bad on starting a duplicate thread, I didn't see the other.

These are the pics from the KSR link that Vol Fan KY posted above. its not AS bad as it seems, but still horrible. Patterson says that there are cracks in the wood (imported floor, not permanent) and boards missing. Humps in the floor that cause the balls to bounce multiple directions. Anyway, it actually seats 1,200, and the walls are not as close as someone said.
