47 here and I kinda liked the black jerseys. It doesn't matter one bit if we change the uni colors for a game -- complete non-issue.

Seriously. It was black one time against South Carolina. It isn't like we came to play Alabama in Green.

I'm Wayyy over 30.....I'm no Fulmerite..........and I liked the jerseys. This is the 21st century and if people don't move with it, they get left behind. These kids now days don't want to wear the wool uni's anymore! I would have liked a better scheme of colors, but the black looked.......great.

I almost always wear black.

That is why I asked, I wasn't sure if you didn't wear orange because you just didn't like the color or because you had a problem wearing school colors. If the latter, if black is the color of the day, wouldn't you be wearing school colors?

Drop dead, Fulmerite. Go cry about how the fat hilbily trash you so adore was wrongly terminated. Last night was an intentional slap in the face to hicks like you. Get used to it. The only donors that matter, the Haslams, love Kiffin. You bib overall wearing rubes will just have to wait til Haystacks gets a job at some jerkwater program. Then, you can all go root for him. Nobody here will miss you.

that is just to funny, i love it when HAT get riled up. . . and i completely agree.

I simply don't think highly of orange as a clothing color.

Since AD MH said that we should not expect to see the Black Jerseys any more, maybe if we send some e-mails to him he might agree to auction them off with procedes going to a UT medical center for the childrens wing or Cancer research.

Is it worth an effort?

No matter how you feel on the jersey issue, I still think that its completely unacceptable for an athletic director to lie to the media or anyone else.

If they wanted to preserve the "surprise" then a simple "No comment" would have been suficient. It reflects poorly on the department for its leader to lie to the media, not just Hyamns, but all the media.

I find it not only acceptable, I find it commendable. The local media are trash. They deserve to be treated as such. Kudos to Hamilton for spitting directly in their faces.

To ZZ13....I can't help but to chime in here....you suggest that you embrace change, and as such, that implies searching for new opportunities. The deal with the shirts was meant for the players and potential recruits, and secondarily for the fans (us).

There was so much positive feedback and enthusiasm surrounding the black jerseys for a Halloween night game and then to read your particular feedback on this topic is somewhat of a downer.

Change is a key element within the football program....I would hope that you are able to temper your displeasure over the black jerseys, and embrace this program not only as a doaner, but as a fan. This football program will be enjoyable to watch for many years to come.

GOOOO Vols!!!

Just like the orange jersey tradition, nothing more. Is that hypocritical - maybe. But its still how I feel.

If Hamilton would have said "no comment" everybody would have been looking for the black, I know I would. UT fans are very perceptive.:dance2:

Dang people, it was just jerseys. If that's all you got to gripe about, then there should be no griping.
