Lol. Your posts continue to get worse. Its actually comical which may have been your intent to begin with because all true fans will watch the game no matter what color jersey they are wearing. Not that I have to justify anything to you but I do support the university of which I graduated some 7 years ago and I do support the athletic department therein. Just admit it. If they come out in black jerseys you will be mad but you will still watch the game. There is no way that as a vol fan of which your name says could keep from doing so.

agreed..they could come out in candystripers and I will watch

My panties ain't in any form of a wad. Your opinion of yourself is highly overrated. I hope you aren't driving while stupid. Luckily the University doesn't have to rely on people like you to survive.

Or people like you. I am a University of Tennessee fan no matter the coach, players, or especially the color of the jersey. Don't let the door hit you on the way out because eventually it will happen. And by the way I am against the black uniforms, I just don't see how someone would get so pissed either way.

honestly i would rather see them in a orange helmet with a white"T" and orange jersey and pants black pants would be ok to i guess

imagine the look on spurriers face if we ran out in all black imagine the reaction from the crowd think about how amped the players would b first time ever in all black!! if we do this we will win by a large margin

i think it would be neat yeah but adding more orange to the uniforms with an orange helmet would be better we are orange and white. TRUE VOLZ BLEED ORANGE

Seems like you are the guy that's pissed. You don't care what color the jersey is? I hope you never get in the door. Here's hoping you're just drunk and don't realize what you're talking about.

My thoughts on us wearing black aside . . . didn't one of the USCe trolls say earlier this week that they have made a request to wear either all black or all garnet (read: ***hsia)? Seems like somebody should know what our response to that request was (we knew a week in advance that Saban was scared to let us wear orange) and that it might prove somewhat telling. (Like if we told them all garnet was fine, but not all black, for instance.) Just a thought.

I guess we'll know with certainty in about 16 hours and 45 minutes.

I might be a little buzzed :) and don't mean to come off as hostile, I just don't understand how a fan would not watch the game or root for the Vols just because they wear black jerseys on Halloween. And, like I said I hope they don't I just don't see the problem.

I think you are mad hman about the jersey color...Is that it or did someone say something else to make you mad?

Why would I be mad. It's been a well known fact that there will be no black jerseys. There's just been some good natured ribbing about the subject tonight... :ermm: You guys are waaaay to sensitive.

Personally, I think black jerseys are kinda stupid, but if our players and recruits like them, I have no problem with it.

Maybe the team should warm up in black, and then come back out of the locker room wearing all orange. That way all the old-school guys like hmanvolfan would go crazy when we ran through the T.

Does it honestly matter what color they wear? It's been cited that Tennessee fans care the most about what color their team wears. It's football. It's Tennessee. Who cares? Let's go.

Not a fan of the all orange pumpkin look. Sorry. Home orange jerseys with white pants will be just fine. :p

Black is just working out great for Vandy and OUR OPPONENT. Why would we wear the other team's colors? Seriously. I say we go out in paisley and set off purple fireworks and have the team run through the T while "When Doves Cry" by Prince is played throughout the stadium. We'd surely win by 300 in that parade of awesomeness. Afterwards, the team will eat pancakes. Ridiculous... I really would like to see the look on Spurrier's face if we did that though.

Sounds cool. But I don't see Kiffin doing the copycat thing. He is original and if they come out in black it will be all his idea. JMO.

Do you realize the contradiction you just typed? You say Kiffin won't do the copycat thing but then say black would be his idea...no it wouldn't because it's been done about a hundred times now by about about a hundred different other teams. There is not a single shread of originality if UT wore black jerseys.

I'll put it this way...wearing black jerseys has become a desperate attempt by teams to gather attention. The vast majority of the teams that do it do so because they need the exposure, and it's the equivalent of throwing crap against the wall to see if it sticks. MTSU, Louisville, Maryland, teams like this wear black jerseys and "hype" it as if it's some big event and it's literally done nothing for their program. It's "excitement" lasts about 10 minutes. Even FSU has tried it and the same results.

We are nowhere close to being this desperate for attention. And the notion that our players and fans need the Vols to come out in black to "pump them up" is utterly ridiculous and if THAT is what is needed to "pump them up" then there is something seriously wrong.
