"One day, the coaching job Bruce Pearl turned in last season might come to be regarded as one of his best."

I'm sure hat will agree wholeheartedly with that statement...

This is quite the optimistic outlook...

What has changed so much since last year's debacle?

You signed another JUCO point guard, who this time supposedly plays defense. And the hope and expectation that every player from last year can't possibly be as bad as they were last year on the defensive side of the ball, because Bruce says they aren't. Hoping that Hopson is mature and shot selection is better overall from a team perspective. IMO, thats the only difference.

Thats not sarcasm, BTW. Just an honest opinion.

"Prince uses his athleticism and high basketball IQ to become a point forward, capable of running an offense and picking apart defenses with his size and passing ability."

Totally discredits the entire article.

Dionte Christmas and Jodie Meeks agree 100%.

Yeah, you know more than any sportswriter and most others associated with college basketball...NOT. Your constant negative posts about Pearl are very old! Pearl is a very good basketball coach. UT is fortunate to have him.

I think Chris Dortch is one of the elite writers in college basketball. That said, that quote is utter nonsense.

Look who's back. Great use of NOT as a comedic device. That's wildly original. You might want to call Leno. His show is struggling and I'm sure they would pay huge dollars to someone with your gift for satire.

JP Prince....high basketball IQ?

LOLOLOLOLOLOL

I'll have to agree with ya there. He has flashes of awesomeness(is that a word) only to leave you saying "WTF was that" on the next play. If he never takes another 3 it'll be too soon. I'm looking forward to see how much his game and Hopson's game has improved.

Pearl would love to see Prince go through a season -- or an off-season for that matter -- without suffering an injury or undergoing surgery.

This is a quote from the article.

I have said all preseason that Prince has a good season, and hatvol has categorically stated along with his minions that Prince will be terrible.

If I am wrong I will call hatvol a genius on this board. If he is wrong he will...oh thats right, we know what he does when he is wrong, he blusters and lies and pretends it did not happen.

Once Prince shows me anything consistent besides terrible, I will quit thinking he is terrible.
