im gonna say we end up playing in the music city bowl with a 7-5 record, i mean we could win out but i think we will lose one more game somewhere, its possible we lose to either USC or ole miss.. but the music city bowl would be good becuase we would have a homefield advantage like vandy had last year.

The difference is, the "its Time" shirt was a three-month campaingn with 50,000 shirts sold that was organized and promoted by the athletic dept.

The black "gameday" shirt is a small run done by one store. Big difference.

We could possibly be Atlanta bound if we could win out...but more than likely it's Music City Bowl or the Liberty or the Independence Bowl.

New Years Eve or New Years would be great I think.

But I guess we should focus on beating SC, Memphis, Ole Miss, Vandy, and Kentucky.

Exactly, we don't get lip from Ole Miss. Heck they didn't even get that mad when wooed Peyton to do the unthinkable. Also, to beat by an SEC team that has never ever won anything...................not good.

Wrong!! The original colors are Orange and White and were selected by Charles Moore before the first game in 1891. They are the colors of the common American Daisy that grew on The Hill. We have been wearing variations of the current Orange and White jersey since 1922.

I have no clue on the blackout or not. However, I definitely know there is a possibility of black jerseys. Check out the thread thats in the recruiting section about it. And before everyone gives Ooltewah Vol crap he is good friends with Jacques at school and has not posted anything he hasn't heard from jacques without saying its his opinion or not (meaning he isn't going to post bull for attention). Hopefully, (if his info is correct) we will wear them even though we lost to bama....

Agreed, one week at a time but I like our chances. Even though we are 3-4 I love what our staff and players are doing this year! The team looks just like that, a team. I love the jumping on the sidelines and the swagger they have. I dont beleive in moral victories but losing by a total of 12 points to two #1 teams makes me hyped about the future. I do see a bowl this year and I dont care which one. Lets get this team into post-season play and watch out!! LOL, didnt mean to get off topic and ramble on but I really love this football team and am very excited for the future. See ya's at Neyland for Memphis and Vandy, GO VOLS!!!!

No black jerseys, please! I think these look sweet, IMO, if these were to go out, this would make the team pumped up and all the fans in Neyland pumped up!!! I know i will be, "blackout" or not! I kinda think it would look cool if they had a black helmet with just the power T, no stripe

With all of the talk of Tennessee possibly donning Black Uniforms for the Halloween matchup with South Carolina and how it could impact recruiting it seems that Coach Spurrier isnt waiting to see what Tennessee has instore , so he going on the offensive with specilaty uniforms of their own Straight from EXXCON Oil Inc.. I have just recieved sketches of the Uniform that the gamecocks will wear in the Big SEC Matchup this weekend. All future recruits that have aspirations of someday working or even managing their own filing stations will definitely be tuning in to this one. Certainly this will get the Attention of the nations gas pumping elites.

The whole blackout thing is so cheesy. Did anyone see the beat down in Athens last year, when Alabama destroyed Georgia in their pretty black uniforms.
