I know the Vols have alot of young talent that arrived on campus and most of them are really contributing to the team like Janzen Jackson starting safety and NuKeese starting on important roles for our special teams. But what about the big guy in the middle on the Defensive side of the ball. Number 93 Montori Hughes!!! Hughes is considered to be a freshman and he is getting quality playing time at the DT position. Against Auburn he sat Ben Tate right on his ass and he almost came up with a pick late in the game which would definintly had helped Tennessee's late come back. Also if you ever watch the D line when he is in the game he is always pumping the crowd up hell he even does it on the side lines. I am just trying to give created where created is due and Montori has surely deserved the created. But I would like to hear comments of all of the freshman that you believe will contribute or already have contributed this year. Who has had the Biggest Impact this year as a Freshman????

I think it's between Jackson or Bryce Brown with Brown getting the edge so far. I think as Nuke get's more and more involved with the offense he'll make the biggest splash towards the end of the year.

Uh oh, this is not going to be good. I feel the majority will go with Bryce Brown.

Bryce has been good, and not to diminish what he's done, but Jackson has impressed me the most out of all the freshmen. He's made some mistakes, but that kid is going to be an absolute monster.

Montori has been great as well.

I think that Brown, Jackson, and Hughes have all been great, but Greg King has also gotten some good minutes at MLB.

Impacted freshman?
Sounds painful. Had an impacted wisdom tooth once,
but the dentist was able to take care of it before it rotted.

Hopefully, there'll be no need to surgically remove any of our freshmen.
(However, that may be the only remedy for Cromptonitis.)

Unfortunately, HIPAA laws prevent the discussion of our athletes' medical history.

I do have a great "cleanout" regimen that works wonders, though. Miralax and Dulcolax suppositories....sha-zam!

It would have been smart to set this thread up after the season is over.

Just noticed that Hughes has been in the middle of everything on Defense and just wanted to see what everyone thought. I guess we will start this thread again in the future just for you!

Montori Hughes gets my vote. He proves that the polls are not always right...2* recruit and he is a force at DT.

this discussion is great because we have a lot of young talent. but it also reinforces the fact that has been ignored by many in the volnation(myself included).... this is a rebuilding year.

GO VOLS!!!!
