Someone tell me how he is going to be an NFL QB again? Second straight year we have proven he should just put his head down and run it 4 yards every play. I throw a better pass than that kid.

Well he certainly has the arm strength. If he does end up playing QB at the next level and not TE or FB all that put the head down and run crap will go out the window because someone like Albert Haynesworth will put him in a coma.

I don't really agree or see the point in trying to diss/downgrade Tebow. I'm glad our defense has played well against him the last 2 years but he is a great quarterback (and you know it) and also, is a class act even gave UT a lot of credit after the game. I wouldn't bet against him succeeding in the NFL. If you wanna diss someone go for Urban Meyer, I say. He will miss Tebow next year.:good!:

He is a class act. We probably cost him the Heisman and a few draft positions yesterday.

Tebow has a Heisman trophy, and he's going to finish his career with more rushing touchdowns than Herschel Walker. If he never plays a snap in the NFL, he's accomplished more than most.

I wouldnt say yesterday cost him the heisman. It will take a Hurculean effort by the other contenders to stay with him. In that offense they will roll some folks. Best, McCoy and any 3rd person to step forward would be great but its Tebows to lose. For all his off the field stuff they will give him a pass on a couple turnovers.

Head to Head QB comparison......

Passing:
Tebow: 11/19, 115 yds, 0 TD, 1 INT
Crompton: 11/19, 93 yds, 0 TD, 2 INT

Rushing:
Tebow: 24 carries, 68 yds rushing, 1 TD
Crompton: 3 carries, 6 yds, 0 TD

QB Passing/Rushing:
Tebow: Combined Pass/Rush = 67% of offensive plays
Crompton: Combined Pass/Rush = 37% of offensive plays

That seems to be a high percentage of direct involvement in the O for Tebow.

So, he goes up against one of the best defenses in the nation two years in a row and finds a way to win.... one of them coached by an NFL legend, and he's over rated and won't perform at the Pro Level? I mean I hate Florida as much as the next guy, but holy damn if you don't recognize Tebow's greatness for what it is, that's your loss. I guess I'm too much of an overall College Football fan (teams usually don't matter to me outside of Tennessee and Purdue), and just love to see great talent no matter what team they play for. Is it frustrating as hell when he plays the Vols and seems to find ways to beat us? Oh ya. But for the rest of the year, he is flat out fun to watch.

It is too early to see if he will go down as an Elway, Marino, or Manning, but at worst he will be a Mcnabb or a McNair.

Tebow will prove you guys wrong. He is a winner in more ways than you've described, QB in the NFL? You have a valid point. That kid will make millions on the next level because he has the intangibles every team in the NFL desires. He will not be successful because of his face on a magazine, but the kid will welcoe the hits with Haynesworth. He will not back down....
ADMIT IT! EVERYTHING HE DOES, TURNS TO GOLD....AS IN RINGS, BECAUSE HE MAY HAVE THREE AFTER THIS YEAR.

As much as it pains me to say it, he really is. If he had played for UT, he'd have most likely put St. Peyton in the shadows a little bit. And we fans would have ADORED him.

*The "St. Peyton" was not being sarcastic.

I like him ok now that I know we won't be playing against him anymore. :p

I heard that he would be a good fit for the J. Jaguars in the NFL.

He will never be a starting QB in the NFL. Will hold a clipboard over on the sideline. The NFL does not run shotgun and he won't be able to run the ball like he does in college. The NFL wants pro style QB's that take snaps under the center.

Jags would do that just to fill the stands. There would be standing room only down here to see Tebow throw for 115 yards a game.

While I agree it's pretty absurd to diss Tebow's college game I just don't see NFL QB. I look at his game and see a souped up version of Eric Crouch.

The only teams that Tebow dominates are teams with weak defenses. TN,Bama,Ole Miss have all caused Tebow problems and he has never threw for alot of yards against us. Tebow with his jump in the face of his team to motivate will get punched out in the NFL where it is a business. With the athletes in the NFL he will get hurt in the NFL and he was lucky he did not get hurt yesterday when EB compressed his neck with that hit.
