"I here that if you get swine flew then your team will loose, especially if you get it from drinking a fare amount of cool aid."

My expectations for this game aren't too high. I'll watch it hoping that UT can somehow find a way to win but realizing that the odds are incredibly weighted against them.

In a game where Appy St beats Michigan and an undermanned Utah team takes Bama to the wood shed in a BCS game that both should be psyched for... ANYTHING is possible- not likely mind you but possible.

I think we may see Bray from snap #1. I believe he is supposed to be at UT in January.

I normally wouldn't say that about an incoming freshman, but our QB situation is so bad I think it may happen.

IMHO, Stephens will win the job next year fairly easily if it isn't his before the season ends this year. Bray and the next two QB commits will battle it out in 2011.

Stephens has a tremendously strong arm and a good grasp of the O. He's already fully developed at 6'4" 225. Bray needs a year in the training program to really get his arm and overall strength where they need to be and to learn the O.

There are maybe one or two college ready HS QB's this fall... and Tyler isn't one of them. I think highly of him but don't believe he's close enough now to be the starter next Sept.

Gona be very sad if some of those Florida Gods Get Hurt by trying to run the score up...I just hope we get through this without any injurys . Myer will not care what the score is he'll continue to poor it on...it might come back and bite him if someone has a career ending injury because there coach is being stupid.

Florida owns Phillip Fulmer and the players he left behind. Its yet to be seen if the gators will own Lane Kiffin's Vols. They need to get in a few games to determine that yet.

That is a very interesting perspective indeed. It seems that everybody believes that the urban legend has done this all by himself too... If memory serves me correctly, it was Zook's team that got him his first national championship. From then on... recruiting in one of the most talent laden states in the country is easy.

Don't get me wrong here either. I am glad that we had a coaching change at UT. When it was announced that Phil was out.. LK was MY personal choice. But one thing you must admit about Phil. During all that time, he was always a classy winner. He never ran up the score on anybody with the first string in the game. I highly doubt that the little urban punk in florida can live up to that... ever. Anybody here think tebow will see the bench during this game besides when the defense is on the field? Not a chance.

Ok ... All you guys that are thinking the moons align and tebow gets sick and the rest of the team catches the swine flew and yada yada and we beat florida somehow ...we need to remember just how bad our qb's have been the past few years ....don't drink to much cool aid this weekend and keep it realistic if crompton can keep from loosing this game by throwing interception after interception after interception after interception maybe the vols can keep the game farely close ....but then again i'll believe it when i see it .... no matter how bad he does lane will prolly be standing there singing "stand by your man" for some reason he just doesn't realize how bad our qb's are ....

I saw a stat last night on ESPN and I thought that this thread was about the stat. The all-time series between UF and UT is 19-19. The kicker is that in the last 23 meetings, UF holds a commanding 17-6 record. I guessed that this thread had some point behind it with those facts.

Hey Rockytopper , in reference to your Stand By Your Man comment i think CLK does know how bad his QB's are having been with them on pretty much a daily basis for 8 months, but hey your right he just tell the press..."guys we are screwed we have no chance as we have the worst QB that has ever been given a college scholarship"..would that make you feel better?
