Tebow Blows Heisman

Wears his religion on his sleeve as he seeks out the cameras and proclaims his wholesome nature. Has a very Swaggert feel.

If he believes what he claims he does, that is what he is supposed to do.

There plenty of people that seek attention for reasons that no one questions. Just wonder why it is wrong when he does it.

So none of the others get called attention whores?

The loud, in your face Christian had done more to destroy the Kingdom than they could build up in a thousand lifetimes.

I hope when I meet my Maker, Tebow isn't with Him.

These UF beatdowns have been just a bit trying.

For the past 2 years all the media has been promoting Tebow as a Christian athlete. Making documentaries segments showing him doing mission work, Tebow promoting his faith with anti glare bandages with scriptures written on them. Painting this picture for all the country to see of a good wholesome person full of faith and living the christian life.

Tebow has came out and publicly stated no one makes fun of his coach and he is out to put it on the Vols. Now to some people they may read this and go yeah Tebow give it to them. I for one of Christian faith see his statement being of one of vengeance. Let me remind you that Vengeance is mine saith the lord.

I say go for it Tebow and wait and see if this will not come back to smite you down. You are going to tarnish your reputation and kiss your Heisman and possible NC chance goodbye.
I Bleed Orange... And I am Christian, but I will have to say Tim has said nothing wrong, God has given him a talent that is far beyond 99% of the people in the world, just so happens his talent is in a physical sport emotions run high.. Saying he is going to beat up Tennessee in game, let me say it again "A GAME" means nothing, should he say God has given me a talent and it would be to my advantage not to provoke the wrath of GOD by trying to win.. The hardest part of being a christian is always having someone like you waiting to pounce on another christian when they do something wrong saying "now now is that the way a christian should act?" one more thing Tebow thinks of his coach as family... and Kiffen was messing with his family and he is doing what anyone would do protecting them...
And before everyone starts on me about me not being a true UT fan let me say I am period!! But to me football is Saturday and Sundays, six months out of the year being a christian is everyday 12 months a year and from what I see Tebow is walking the walk and talking the talk in football and his christian faith...
GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On this board?, not the way he does.

I don't disagree that some go over the top and they do draw away from the kingdom of God.

Not every christian is that way tho, and I don't think he is either. At least not from what I have seen.

I went out with one of those once. I never grasped the concept.

Please don't let football cloud you judgment. I love the vols as much as anyone but Tebow is genuinely a fine Christian man. he is always sharing his faith. He devotes his off time to missions and his eyeblack messages work. After he put John 3:16 on for the championship, it became the # 1 search on google. I hope he gets laid out by Berry on sat. As much as the next guy but back off his character. As for the whole vengeance is sinful thing... Are you serious? This thread is stupid.

Do we all have to wait until the very end to find out the answer to these questions... or should we form a jury and judge now?

Just saying his denomination is whatever his parents crammed down his gullet. Probably knows that questioning is the work of the devil.

You and I would agree on so many things except for one day in football season and two days during basketball season.

Awesome thread. :ermm:

Being Christian is not a competition.

I won't have any of this loser talk. We're going to out-Christian those heathen Gators up and down the field on Saturday. Never will there have been more cheek-turning in one stadium, before or since.

Are you saying you're smart enough to be submissive to BPV's point of view?

I really read this thread title wrong...I was trying to figure out who Heisman was and why Tebow had the hots for him.
