Can we get behind Crompton and realize that he is the starting quarterback i understand he may not be great but still lets shut our mouths about how many pick 6's he is gonna throw saturday and look at the positive side. This kid is our quarterback so deal with it!!!!

Im behind him, until next week when stephens is the starter, then i will be behind him

Are you not tired of all the damn people running their mouth if they were god honest UT fans they wouldnt put our QB down!!!!!

I'm for whoever is behind center. Go Vols! ...that said, I'm for giving Eric Berry a realistic shot at the Heisman and that only happens if he takes some snaps or returns some punts/kicks. He deserves a real shot imo.

So your not a real fan if you think the quarterback is horrible based on his performance on the field for the second year. That is rich. Sorry dude, but Crompton is worst starting qb I have ever seen at the D-1 level.

Is your exclamation point stuck? Calm down, we're all Vol fans, and we have the message board so we can vent our frustrations every once and a while. I don't agree with the "over/under picks" thread, but a fan taking out some frustration with his fellow fans is damn American

I have been wondering why EB doesn't return punts or kicks. I'm sure there is a good reason and thats not sarcasm. It just seems that he would be capable of turning the momentum in your favor by returning some. anyway just a random vol thought of mine.

J.Crompton is our starting QB i will support him all i can. Go Vols!!
You never know what will happen, i'm hoping for the best.

I hope he does well, but you can't ask people who are being realistic about his abilities to suddenly ignore all that. He's had plenty of chances to prove himself.

Taking it one step further, why is he on the kick off coverage team? If he gets hurt doing that...well that's a question I wouldn't be lookin forward to having to answer on Vol Calls. Let it pour, I know, I just questioned CLK...Seriously though.

Crompton will be just fine this game. if not, pretend I am writing this about the Ohio game. I could never say he sucks, he got alot further as a QB that I ever got. Not only have I never started as a UT QB but I have never even played any college football. In all actuallity, I never played QB when I played football except for back yard ball. The only part about football I was ever good at was just being fast and being hard to tackel. That didnt ever get me anywhere. So if I was ever a starting QB at UT, then I would be able to talk about it. He is what we have and we will have to support him. You can boo him and then we can Stevens, who will get booed and the Liamason(sp) and we really dont know what he can do in the short time he has been with this team. Just support the team we have now! I personally support all college football! UT the most though!
