I want us to show some heart, to play hard to the end and never give up no matter what the score may be. If we can do that, then I think CLK will have done his job in his first visit to the swamp.

Excellent, realistic post. Except there will always be, no matter what game, that .0000000001% hope inside me to think the vols win. No matter what happens.

DRinkin the Kool-aid and boy is it tasting good. So what if I wake up on Sunday and the Vols lost. Aren't we suppost too? Like a hang over it hurts like hell but the night before sure was fun.

I keep coming to this question tho. What happens if we do make the miracle win? What will everyone say? Will hell freeze over? I sure would like to see what happens. haha. Pandamonium!

The Giants and Jets were still good teams, evident by the fact they made the Super Bowl. So not exactly apples to apples here.

I believe in this...if the Vols can stick around and not let the Gators get more than a 7 point lead into the 4th quarter we can pull the upset. Here's why, Urban and the boys will get frustrated. They will get frustrated because all week they have heard about Lane Kiffin and how he disrepected them. They will be frustrated because by the 4th quarter, they should be killing us and it should not be a game at that point.

I predict that if we are within 7 points in the 4th quarter, they will make mistakes ( a stupid trick play or a defensive breakdown trying for the big sack or int.) trying to blow the game wide open. Of course this is all dependent on the premise that we are within 7 points at the beginning of the 4th quarter. This is how I feel and I'm sticking to it.

Listen, I spent seasons expecting to lose certain games. Without fail, those seasons were not fun for me, even when we were good.

I decided that preseason, I'd be realistic about expectations, then, each week I'd cheer and talk like we'd win THAT game. Why? Because it's the fun way to do things. If you don't believe, then what's the point?

1st post :) Go Vols!

i'd like to think that we're gonna pull off the upset of the year this saturday, and we just might. But it's a big maybe with too many IF situations. Let's just hope Kiffin doesnt sit there clapping everytime Florida scores, and that if #8 decides to throw the ball, it goes to the right teammate.
