My first home game p.f. (post Fulmer).

1) The stadium looks great.
2) The average income fan is being priced out. I paid $63 for upper deck endzone seats. Compare to $45, I paid for tickets to UT-Ole Miss in Oxford.
3) We are two recruiting classes behind being in the upper echelon of the league particularily in the offensive lines and depth in the D-line.
5) No Division 1 team could have beaten UCLA with JC at QB.
6) Monte Kiffin is the real deal.
7) Lane Kiffin is more conservative than I thought.........no trick plays, reverses etc.
8) Rick Neuheusel is an idiot to have challenged the safety at the end. Actually that was our best chance to win by making UCLA punt from the one and going after the block or return.
9) For all you people down on Kiffin......check the records of Stoops, Saban, Carrol and Tressel in their first year at their respective schools.

Out of necessity based on the QB and OL he inherited. The playbook will open up when we upgrade the talent at those positions.

Nope! Take the safety on 4th down, burn the clock.

I thought that was stupid as well to challenge the safety at first - but actually it wasn't - they would have run 40 seconds off the clock and the still probably intentionally taken a safety on 4th down.

My first game at Neyland was against Vandy in 91 and we sat in the upper deck. Seems like the ticket price was $25.

And cokes are now $3. What is going to happen with our large stadium.........local fans will not be able to afford the tickets and rival fans, like Bama and Georgia will show up in larger numbers. I guess Hamilton has to pay off the multi-millions to Fulmer and co.
