At what point does a junior QB hurt us less than losing in recruiting?

god, yeah that's the worst part. The way I saw crompton on passing plays today, I could have jumped in or cut off most of those routes from the hints he would have given me

i would take another rick clausen at this point

he wasn't the best QB ever but every pass wasn't an adventure with him.he led the comeback against lsu after ainge's meltdown

Kiffin has to keep Crompton in just to recruit a freshman QB. He is the final selling point,"You get to start right away" Look what we have now.

Maybe. If UTC had UTK's athletes other than the QB, then I think Coleman would have put up monster stats similar to what Crompton did in week 1. I'm not an anti-Crompton person. I do think he is an awful SEC QB, but he's all they seem to have so if you want to support the team you pretty much have to hope he does well and I do not think the negative fan reaction is going to do much to help him. That said, I will continue to beleive that BJ is a better game manager who just wasn't blessed with the cannon arm. Bottom line, I think a BJ Coleman-led Vol offense beats UCLA yesterday because I think the turnovers would've been cut at least in half and the QB's ability to throw the deep ball was a non factor in that game.

We the fans, are an integral part of the team. All you idiots who think you know more than CLK hold your tongues. We ask that the team doesn't give up, so why do you give up? Circle the wagons and lest stay together as part of the team because that's what we are, "part of the team". If the recruitts are listening to you, why would they want to come here with this lack of support..Do your part..If you can't say something good, go back to your bottle...

If you are talking about me you can kiss my arse!! I think Kiff did the right thing in leaving him in and he will do the right thing this week by sitting him. PERIOD. And if he does'nt, he knows best and we are in BIG trouble. Maybe YOU should find something else to do.

Are we too dense to remember the other guy's performances last year? UT has no qb. Coleman wasn't the answer either
