6-7 wins (8 at most, including bowl game); this team's season is a huge success if it can make any bowl game at all and can come in with a good recruiting class

the margin of loss to Florida has no bearing on that. the outcome of today's game pretty much assured us of at best a 7 win season. and that's putting a lot of positive spin on what happened tonight.

That would be assuming Florida scores less than 20.

I think it is likely they score 40-50 and we score 0-10.

1) The UF game won't be closer than 20.

2) This is a 6 or 7 win team.

Until we get some production out of a qb then I am concerned that we may not win 6. I was not of the mindset that we were back as a top team after last week however I fully expected to win today. Now I am not sure we can win 3 sec games to get to a bowl , provided we beat Ohio and Memphis . I still expect however to win one we are not supposed to win and get to a bowl. Worst thing about this loss , we could have won by 10-14 points with average play from crompton . The pic when he missed Jones would have been 6 , he missed a wide open tight end when he nearly threw a pic in the end zone 1st qtr , and he missed a wide open tight end in the zone in the forth qtr . He also would not pull the trigger when Cooper broke open on the wheel route and well you saw it nuff said. We had every chance to win this game. Btw a bruin fan told me after the game, " Your qb was our mvp ." .

I don't think we will have to worry about it being closer than 20. It's more than likely gonna be ugly.

Then we would have to win 3 of these 5 games:
Auburn
Georgia
Ole Miss
South Carolina
A Bowl Game

It's hard to see us winning 3 of those 5 games right now....

The margin will have no effect on how many wins we'll have. A bowl game would be something to shoot for.

bigger concern's 6 wins now. With the way Auburn and South Carolina just played this week, it's still going to be very hard for this team to take away another win from that auburn, UGA, ole miss, and the cocks.

unfortunately, today made both vandy and UK not sure things either (it's got to bank more on them falling apart like they usually do in their last few games of the season)

No. But it has nothing to do with Monte. It has to do with how long the defense will be on the field due to the incompetence of the offense and how many times they will be asked to defend a short field against the most talented team in the country.

dude, after last season and the way this season looks currently....a bowl game is huge and a good recruiting class is big

it's just a little messed up since he said "We have to win these 5 games" and listed one we've already won. Would've made more sense to leave that off
