Why not just have realistic expectations? You make it hard on yourself when you say stuff like "Singing rocky top all night long after we beat Florida next year, it's going to be a blast". He set the bar too high.

It has nothing to do with homerism. What it has to do with is that one loss to a good defensive team and we have an inept QB, shouldn't knock us out of contention for the guys that visited today. Also, not everyone can go play for a winner right away and will have to go somewhere else. There are many things that players have to learn about when they go to college and adversity is probably near the top, with learning that what they did in HS is out the window when they arrive on campus being 1st.

What do you expect him to say, "Hey guys, I'll supply the lube when Florida takes it up our hindparts this fall."?? Yeah he should have just said that and helped with the next Tebow circumcision.

No, he shouldn't have mentioned the game at all. UF had absolutely nothing to do with his speech but he thought he'd throw it in there to get his team in the news(He said so himself). Well, he has them in the news.

"Your team" *cough*bandwagon fan*cough* has won two of the past three championships and you feel the need to rub it into fans of a team with a record of 6-8 over the past 14 games. Why wouldn't we question your life? You don't have one. You continue to talk to people who don't want to talk to you and hang out on a teams board that is of no relevance to your team other than they play each other. Congrats. You're cool man.
