"Tennessee and Alabama are renewing an old rivalry tradition this fall. Alabama will wear its home crimson uniforms when the Tide rolls into Neyland Stadium on Oct. 17 while Tennessee wears its traditional orange home uniforms, the SEC announced on Wednesday. It’s a two-year agreement with Tennessee locked into wearing orange uniforms in Tuscaloosa in 2027.

The Vols and Crimson Tide used to both wear home uniforms every year when the two teams met on the gridiron. But the tradition ended in 1970 as the away team in the series began wearing white uniforms."

When they hired Knowles, it was said that he would simplify the defensive scheme and playbook. There was even references to his success doing so at prior programs.

One coach is better at creating depth, and the other is better at exploiting depth, I'll stick by that. I hope we have enough depth.....
