We ain't going to the playoffs this year...I just want the team to be a competitive nightmare for everybody we play this year, and use it to springboard into 27 and 28.

We will be doing good to win 8 THIS season...but the immediate future looks extremely bright to me.

Not all 7-5 or 8-4 seasons are made the same. This will be an overall better team than last year, and we will be overall tougher to deal with simply because the defense will be competent instead of a freaking pathetic joke...but the results won't be much different because I just don't think the offense is going to be great...THIS year.

All that being said...IF whoever wins the QB job is able to run the offense at peak performance...then yeah the Playoffs are a possibility IF the defense is competent as expected. I just don't/can't EXPECT those IFs to happen.

This will be a weird year. The offense is loaded except for the most important position where it's completely unproven. Defense is similar where it looks great except DL which is the most important position group. I still think defense will be better but a competent defense with a freshman QB doesn't scream playoffs to me.

I don't know what to expect but 7 or 8 wins feels about right given how tough the schedule is.

In a few weeks I'll change my mind and be calling for a national title.

I need all games to be at night. Just bought a projector and a big screen for outside. Only can see the screen around 'dusk'.

Once you hit October I agree...

But noon and 3:30pm games in Neyland in September are miserable.
