Probably so if there was punishment it would be the first two games and not mid-season during SEC schedule. Also shows integrity from the player, coach, and administration. The backlash has been so big that I bet it gets reduced to 1-game.

Honestly, I believe this plays into our hands. Our DL seems more built for stopping the run this year. Of course, I will need to see more shirtless pics to be sure. Sorry @gofightwin.

Advice (take it or leave it).

Don't bring up your illness unless the interviewer does. If they do, let them know you're recovering but would take a lot more than a few hours of lost sleep and a minor cold to keep you from this opportunity).
Box breathe before entering.
Smile and make eye contact.
Pause slightly before each answer. Even if you have prepared your response.
Research the business before showing up. I like when a interviewee is prepared.
Don't be afraid to ask if there are qualities, skills, they are specifically looking for with this role. It will let you know what to work on in the event you are not selected.

In today's world there is a shortage of people that are friendly and give a damn. If you are one of them, I like your chances! You got this Saggin and luck is zero part of the equation.

Most impressive candidate I ever interviewed asked at the end of the interview if he got the job what would he had done in a year time frame that would make me pleased with hiring him. Showed forethought, confidence and investment.

I hired him, he’s been great

Reflection
Fear often tells us to stay quiet, avoid risk, and retreat from difficult situations. But fear is not meant to control the life of a believer. God has placed His Spirit within us, giving us the power to do what is right, the love to treat others with grace, and the self-discipline to remain faithful when our emotions pull us elsewhere.

Courage does not mean that we never feel afraid. It means we refuse to let fear determine our obedience. Timothy was facing pressure, opposition, and uncertainty, yet Paul reminded him that he was not facing those challenges alone. The same Spirit who strengthened Paul was also at work in Timothy.

We may sometimes hesitate to speak about our faith because we fear rejection, criticism, or embarrassment. But the gospel is nothing to be ashamed of. Jesus was not ashamed to identify with us, and we should not be ashamed to identify with Him.

God may not remove every uncomfortable situation, but He will provide the strength necessary to remain faithful in it. Today, instead of asking, “What am I afraid might happen?” we can ask, “What would faithfulness look like here?”

Prayer
Father, thank You for giving me Your Spirit. When fear makes me want to retreat, remind me that You have given me power, love, and self-discipline. Give me courage to stand for Christ without shame and to remain faithful even when obedience is difficult. Let my words and actions reflect both boldness and love. In Jesus’ name, amen.

A couple of other tips - think of the competencies they are looking for (usually in the job description) and have an example for each one where you showed that skill. Also, you can answer in STAR format - situation, task, action, result. It is a bit old school but helps keep your answer organized and example based. Close at the end and ask if there is anything else you can clarify or any concerns they may have - that gives you a chance to address anything they are worried about.

I had to cancel an interview once because of a kidney stone. I called my future boss from the Blount memorial ER. I ended up getting the job over 100 candidates lol. It’ll work out man don’t sweat it.

All right boys I got tickets to 4 games I really wanted to go to. Season opener, Bama, KY and LSU.

Out of the games that are left which ones would you go to?

-Auburn
-GA Tech
-Texas

I’m currently leaning Tech since I’ve never been to an away game.
