I absolutely understand people wanting guardrails on the unlimited transfers, ballooning salaries, never ending eligibilIty, lawsuits, etc, but it’s only going to be a good thing for us if the NCAA is still rendered largely irrelevant.

Let me provide some assistance.

The NCAA:
- felt like we got off easy for the Pruitt stuff;
- doesn’t like Spyre;
- thinks we started the out-of-control NIL contracts with Nico;
- thinks we started the lawsuit trend with the Nico lawsuit; and
- hates Danny and Donde pushing collective bargaining.

That place is full of vindictive grudge-holders who will not rest until Tennessee football is back in the ditch if they are given the power back to effect such a thing.
