There is more than that. But there is no need to argue, you won't listen...

We can sell Luc on the fact that Gators cannot play on the NFL level, and we a have a defensive coordinator who is a legend in the NFL and can prepare him for the league better than anyone in the country...

Luc is not leaving the state of Florida. I still think Miami has a great chance to land him because he wants to stay close to home. I just can't see a Haitian kid leaving the state of Florida to play in Knoxville.

As a Denver fan, I pray they never even think about going to Florida for a player ever again. Jarvis Moss is pretty much the reason Shanahan got fired. You can eventually bring it all back to Moss. Current Defense, GM abilities, drafting problems >>>> Jarvis Moss.

That logic won't work, we've already had one Haitian leave South Florida to play for the Vols. You ever heard of Ovince St. Preaux?

Yeah...well alot of people thought the #1 player in the country wouldn't even look at UT...but last I checked he just went for 100+ yards and a TD while wearing orange this past Saturday...

Luc has said he's interested...he's going to visit...so I'd say our chances are much better than you are willing to admit

Yeah, a Haitian in Knoxville. That sounds so crazy. Who would he hang out with, all the baseball players from Miami that decided to go to UT. What were they thinking?!?

Does anyone besides me find the recent influx of gator fans into the Volnation message boards interesting? I rarely would see a post from a gator fan in here before last few weeks and now they are on almost every thread. I wonder what could cause such a stir among the gator faithful? I know I personally have never gone to a florida message board talking trash. Hmmmm..could it be that they are getting nervous? Getting the feeling that their days are numbered? Tebow's leaving....CUM might be gone soon too.. thinking back to the Zook era? scary isn't it? It's ok to feel that way gators...I am getting that same feeling myself.

If there's more than that just say so, I don't care if the Vols get Luc or anyone else as long as they aren't consistently beating the Gators. However to this point all anyone has brought to the table is "he's visiting", or "we have a better chance than you think", or "Kiffin and company can get anyone in the country", etc. Nobody has brought anything substantial to the table supporting the theory that Luc will end up a Vol.

His mother wants him in state and close, and it's obvious she plays a major part in his recruiting as she's the primary reason he probably isn't going to Miami. We know he likes FSU a lot, and we know UF is a distant second. If someone has evidence suggesting otherwise I'd be happy to hear it.

I will give you some reasons. For one, he is a 18 year old kid and they are not always perfectly rational. They also do not always care what their parents think. Kyle Prater's dad wanted him to come to UT, but he is going to USC instead.

We have an excellent defensive coordinator that could get him ready for the NFL. All it would take is an amazing visit and he could switch to us. He could come visit Knoxville for the Auburn game and maybe we have an amazing defensive game and he is blown away. I am pretty sure he was not blown away by FSU's defense last night.

Or, maybe he comes to visit Knoxville and he meets a girl during his visit that he is blown away with. They start talking on facebook and that sways him to come to UT. Like I said he is a kid, any little thing could change his mind.

I am telling you with our facilities, staff, fan base, and etc... if we get a visit from someone, there is a decent possibility they could come here. No matter who they are committed to.

I am guessing you are in high school, or maybe a college freshman. You disappeared after claiming that Saban made LSU in recruiting because you must have googled your way to a counter and realized your statement was totally wrong.

Almost everyone on here has said repeatedly that Luc is a heavy FSU lean, as is Joyner.

What I think is stupid is how you come here and give 1 good post (that would be your reply when I asked you why you thought what you did about Powell and you talked about his family looking at houses in the Gainesville area) with substantive information that adds to the recruiting discussion, and the rest is ad hominem.

Quit attacking other posters and quit acting childish and focus your enthusiasm on going to the pay sites I am unwilling to pay for so you can give me the information about Ronald Powell, Dietrich Riley (who I think is going to wait to announce until the end of January but who I think has UT in the lead right now), Joyner, Dyer, Wright, Shaw, Quarles, Ferguson etc.

If you provide info, even if it is not good news for UT recruiting, you will be welcome here by everyone. If not, you will put on ignore lists and will realize that no one responds anymore when you post in every thread.

Some info coming out of Treasure Coast about the Vols. From people who work in the school...

There was actually a Gator fan who talked to Luc at FNL and came to a UT board. He said Luc was raving about Monte Kiffin and the Vols...

There are other things like this that have been going on for a while behind the scenes. Nobody knows what this kid is doing. Up until 3 weeks ago, everyone said he was a silent to the Gators. We all know that isn't true...

Thank you, that's all I was asking for.

Anyhow, anyone with sources knew Luc wasn't a silent. He does however like us, and he is close with Charlie Strong, but in the end I really feels like he ends up a Nole. His brother was a nole, and his idol is Derek Brooks. It'll be tough for anyteam to pull him away from FSU. Luckily, Jon Bostic has been a monster for us and looks like a future star.

If I'm not mistaken, Didn't Monte Kiffin make Derek Brooks who he was. Doesn't Monte coach for Tennessee. See where I'm going here Mos.

I would love to have Luc! At this point I feel that if we got a commitment from Luc, it would be a bigger coup than Bryce Brown. That being said, I believe he stays in Florida.

I understand this, but Kiffen isn't his idol, Brooks is. I don't know why he has a man crush on Brooks but he does. I think he ends up there because of tha reason, and they're selling early playing time.

Oddly, even with our top two MLB's leaving and going pro he doesn't think he can see the field early at UF. At least that's what people are telling him.

That is what I am hearing to. They are pounding it in his head that he won't get on the field for a while at UF and that Charlie Strong isn't going to be there much longer...

Yep, that's what's been going on.

We aren't worried about Charlie Strong leaving, but we know Luc wants to be an EE, so our initial hope was that he'd commit and enroll before Charlie Strong left, if he did endeed end up choosing to leave.

He's had some growing pains. At first he wasn't acclimated to being pushed so hard, slacked off a tad, and a few of the older players on our team had to get on him. He's doing great now though, the coaches and team leaders are speaking highly of him, and he got a good amount of time the other day.

I'm really impressed by Will Hill though. Both Joe Haden and Brandon Spikes say he's the best player on the defense regardless of position.

Just wait till Monte talks to him and tells him how he wants to use Luc the exact way he used Brooks in his defense.
