Fair. But that was a specialty lineup. He wasn’t a 5 in our regular lineup, which is what Brown will be. Brown is taller by 2-3 inches, though.
Brown’s wingspan is the same as Okpara. His standing reach is over nine feet, which is the range of an NBA front court player. Both better than Grant and both more important than height.

He does have a good wingspan and pretty good standing reach (4 inches less than Okpara). The downside with Brown though is he is not explosive and doesn't get off the ground like Felix. I'm guessing his vertical is not very high.

Another off-season with the S&C staff is exactly how that improves.

Every single player under Barnes gets better each season, Brown will too. He's here and he's talented enough to play plenty of minutes.

Agree he’s never going to be as quick off the floor or as agile on the perimeter. Defensively, he’s never gonna be as good as Okpara. Offensively, though, he’s light years better. He’s got the tools to be a solid defender and a plus offensive player. He’ll be fine next to the guys we brought in.

Exactly. Rubin and Fermin are the rim protecting 5s. Brown is going to be a better offensive 5 than either (and Okpara). While he won’t be an elite rim protector, he’ll be a solid defender in this system.

There’s no point in having different 5s with the same traits. Ours are varied.

If the Bucks could clone Giannis they'd tell the second he is just a practice player. No point in having two like that out there. Heck, they probably wouldn't even want to pay the electric bill to run the Duplicator.

Honestly we just need Brown to be better than JP...and I think his game is closer to that comparison than Felix

Rubin & Fermin are closer in game, size, & ability to Felix than Brown is and we need those 2 with Lue to play that role.

Wade is 100% that petty of a dude...he's trying to prove a point to someone. I'm just not sure who it is could be LSU for firing him the first time could be the NCAA for coming after him for ish that's now totally allowed.
