Happy Monday

Scripture (NIV): Acts of the Apostles 16:30–31
“He then brought them out and asked, ‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’
They replied, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.’”

Reflection
This moment comes right after an earthquake, broken chains, open prison doors, and what looked like complete chaos. Yet in the middle of all of it, the Philippian Jailer asks the most important question a person can ask:
“What must I do to be saved?”

And Paul the Apostle and Silas give a clear, direct answer—not a list of achievements, not religious performance, not “clean yourself up first.”
Just this:
Believe in the Lord Jesus.

That word believe is deeper than simply agreeing with facts. It means to trust… to surrender… to place the weight of your life into His hands.
What’s striking is that this question came from a man who likely thought he was in control—guarding prisoners, carrying authority, doing his job. But one encounter with God showed him something many of us eventually discover:
You can have responsibility… experience… position… even outward success… and still realize your deepest need is Jesus.

The good news is that salvation isn’t earned by trying harder. It begins with trusting the One who already finished the work.

Prayer
Lord, thank You for making the way of salvation clear through Jesus Christ. Help me not just know about You, but truly trust You with every part of my life. Where I try to control outcomes, teach me surrender. Where I rely on my own strength, remind me that real security is found in You. And may my faith not stop with me—let it influence my home, my relationships, and the people around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Is our high school recruiting class gonna be mef this year? Asking because @Jackcrevol said so. He said we couldn't even land legacy players. Mentioned something about "fahr-ing" people.

Y'all need to attack Jack and tell him how wrong he is.
I am not super concerned about high school recruiting anymore. I am much more concerned with what we do in the portal. I worry now when we invest so much in our HS recruiting that will not contribute as a freshman. For me, if we get DGG this year, it's a big win for HS recruiting because he will contribute as a freshman. For the rest, I am not as worried.

Would we rather have a 4* WR as a freshman or a Chris Brazzel type from the portal? We have done a better job on getting DBs and OL from the portal than recruiting. Will see about QBs this year as this will be the first time we are starting a QB that we recruited from HS.

Imagine if Tony V would have left him Anderson. Would have made a huge difference on the pitching staff. I wonder if Elander might look to upgrade the pitching staff a little? I am extremely happy with the job E has done. Especially given the fact he replaced the best baseball coach in school history and the best colegybqssball coach in the nation at the time.
The pitching coach was hand picked by Tony V and Frank. It might be an over reaction to replace him. We didn’t have that bad of a season but didn’t have much depth at all.

Or maybe George just ain't even close..I hope it's that Faizon is THAT guy...finally.
Or maybe it’s just made up nonsense like the Jake Merlinget talk. We will know after Week or two of fall camp. If George goes first the majority of the time then he is the man. If it is even then it’s a real competition.
