Wow! What a game! From 0-0, B5 to two great inning finish! 5-4, Farragut but a great finish! Worth the half hour to watch those last two innings.

Oak Ridge has a good club. Free has done a really good job with that program. They are likely one of the top 3 contenders for state. I’m a Farragut alum. Farragut doesn’t have the pitching depth they normally do. I think they can make it to state but not sure how much damage they can do when they get there.

District Finals:

May 5: Championship game, Oak Ridge vs. Farragut, 4:30 p.m.; Championship game (if necessary), 7 p.m.

Oak Ridge playing out of Winner’s bracket. A win in the first game would seal it. Farragut would have to win both the first and the “if necessary” game.

ORHS run ruled in game two, 10-0 in five innings. Will move to Regionals as runner up.

Regional field will be Farragut, Oak Ridge, Central and Halls. Note: First place and runner up will advance to Sectionals from the Regional tournament.

Traditionally, some strong teams right there.

That would be a fun HS tournament to go see.

ORHS won at Farragut, 8-4, to clinch Regional Championship and right to host Sectional Tournament in Oak Ridge. Central currently playing Halls to determine who plays Farragut for the runner up slot. Runner up also advances to Sectional.

Tell me about it. Farragut vs Oak Ridge was 3-3 between regular season, District and Regional tournaments. Good chance they meet in sectionals this week.
