That is fabulous! I am big time jelly of you (and of @franklinpence who is also headed to Italy). I love la bellissima Italia. We've never north of Milan yet but I know that place is gorgeous and you will eat well!

@MarcoVol, was our game prep for Volantis – putting spin machines on four differently placed chairs to simulate the height of his release – an original brainstorm? Or is that something that has been done before, that you know of. I was pleasantly astounded when I read about that last night in the transcript of Elander's post game remarks. Woke up thinking about it, and I've been wondering since. GBO!

Our guys were hitting pretty well last night and I think that was some good pitching they faced. . .

This team seems a little strange to me. Sometimes they can't get anything going and other times they light people up. I guess that's just baseball.

All I know is the ump's strike zone for Tex was from ankles to shoulders.

Really no way to know but I would guess that just about everything has done before at some point (barring new tech that didn’t previously exist). There are some smart / creative coaches and staffs out there.

Even if it has been done, it’s a great call by Elander to prep his squad.

I'm looking forward to it. Thinking of going to Aosta for a day and maybe into Switz to see some castles....One day in Milan.
not enough free time to go to Rome or Venice,
