They would rather let China and Russia rape the environment through strip mining to produce energy that doesn't work in the cold or wet. Have us drive vehicles that are heavier that destroy our roads and release more micro plastics during tire wear. Tire wear higher than lighter vehicles that put a strain on the rubber tree population which in turn has caused mas deforestation to grow more rubber tree farms. So, get out of here with your silly pragmatism.

Ev”s experience between 20 and 30 percent loss of range in both cold and wet climates. They require more rubber because of the weight.
