Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

As I have perused the post looking for tidbits of wisdom, I have yet again been left with a feeling of utter disappointment. There is no enlightening info that can't be gleaned from your average talk show or news outlet or heaven forbid YouTube..... Alas the only thing to do is eat a hand full of Skittles and get an appropriate amount of rest (usually a few days) then I shall return in hopes of finding that one item that puts me over the top and makes scaling the walls in this fine institution and my current situation worth it. (those damn tasers hurt). As always I bid each and everyone of you a Fond Adieu.G_23 Oggi così.gif

Scripture — Gospel of Matthew 6:9 (NIV)
“‘This, then, is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.’”

Reflection:
When Jesus gave these words, He wasn’t just handing His disciples a prayer to recite—He was teaching them how to approach God.

He begins with “Our Father.”
Not distant ruler.
Not reluctant listener.
Father.

That one word changes everything.
It speaks of access.
Relationship.
Belonging.
Security.
And then—“hallowed be your name.”
Before requests…
Before needs…
Before daily bread, forgiveness, or direction…
Jesus starts with worship.

He reminds us that prayer is not first about bringing God into our agenda—it’s about bringing our hearts into alignment with His.
When life feels noisy, pressured, or uncertain, this verse calls us back to something simple:
Remember who you’re speaking to…
and remember who He is.

Prayer:
Father in heaven, thank You that through Christ I can come to You not as a stranger, but as Your child. Teach me to pray with reverence, trust, and honesty. Before I rush into my needs, help me pause and honor Your name. Align my heart with Your will, steady my thoughts, and remind me that true peace begins in Your presence. Amen.

How are none of our transfers 5 star transfers? Makes zero sense.

Hate us....
I don’t understand how Juke Harris is not a 5* transfer...I get the others being high 4*s, but his rating makes zero sense to me. I suppose it is because he blew up just this past year...that's the only thing I can think of.
