A lot of people have bad taste in music. I couldn't tell you the difference between Jason Aldeen, Morgan Wallen, or any of the modern male country singers. It's all the same sound.

Imo, the late 80's into the 90s was the last great period of male country. Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, George Strait, Garth Brooks to name a few

Keith Whitley, Mark Chestnut, Sammy Kershaw too. You had a few later like Josh Turner but for the most part I agree with you......but maybe it's just us and our generation. That's stuff they call country now is as popular as ever and I don't get it.
