RU crazy? You need to buy one of those $2000 Apple phones.
OTOH, 95% of my use is talk and text on 2020 samsung phone. Some of that AI stuff is funny turned.

My ride is older but I mount my phone on my windshield and it just goes through Bluetooth audio.

I get bored easily, so on road trips I can satisfy any abstract question I have by saying "Hey google."

I always end my drives a slightly more learned man.

The Tesla Grok integration is fantastic for that. I can have it read me historical accounts, tell jokes, discuss markets, update sports scores, or even tutor me in Spanish. The feature of selectable personalities really adds to the entertainment.

Lol, same here. I had to drive from Knoxville to just below Tunica doing a route survey a couple of weeks ago. I used the Ai through the truck to plan a trip through the Exuma Bahamas by boat. My crew leaves in 2 weeks for a 10 day, bareboat excursion out of Nassau. I found a couple of errors in it's suggestions but for the most part it basically told me distance in between stops, fuel use, refueling locations, good anchoring spots, amd many points of interest.

Are you familiar with Exuma? I researched the area before our trip there last summer for boating purposes, as well. Make sure you snorkel or dive the Angelfish blue hole, spend a little time at Coconut Club, and hike across Stocking Island just north of the monument to the ocean side for one of the most beautiful beaches and baths you'll ever see. The man o war sand bar is cool for finding fun creatures etc when the tide is down. There is also a great reef that is not advertised but is marked with buoys just off the south tip of Stocking on the bay side.

A couple of years ago, me, my son, son-in-law trailered my 24' center console down to Ft Lauderdale and made the run all the way to Georgetown, Great Exuma. We've done Chat & Chill and a lot of the stuff around that area. Coconut club wasn't quite open when we were there.

We are taking a power cat out of Nassau and plan to run south to rudder cut cay. It will probably take us two days to get there. Then we'll slowly work our way back north to Nassau stopping at several places including, black point, staniel cay, compass cay, wardwick wells, shroud cay, Norman's cay, and Highborne cay before heading back to Nassau and Palm Cay. Cruising for 10 days.

Chat n chill was OK, but Coconut Club is freaking nice.

We sailed the BVIs a year and a half ago and that was a fun trip, too.

ASML is an absolute beast IMO. They have a huge moat.

For me, the only concern is the tariff stuff which I'm not following.

Wouldn't think the Dutch are all that wild about our current Administration.

The flip side might also think the advisors would tell the prez that we need ASML.

Then he starts trying to tell them to not sell the new machines to China.

I haven't paid attention lately...

Lots of variables at play. Trump has mentioned he wants to move a bunch of chip making to the US.

Does that mean a competitor?

I was proud of Intel's report last week.

As a mutual fund, it isn't as sexy...but look at chart of FSELX.

I think it is a good reflection of Trump / Musk pushing USA in chip making.

May be wrong, but think it made 60% last year. It was smokin' in April, plus tossed in some type of dividend which reset it from $54 to $49.

It is a Fidelity fund. But can be bought thru Vanguard and others for $1k min.

Does have a high 0.64% management fee

More likely, in my opinion, that creates additional business for ASML. Kind of the same with Taiwan. If they fall or are disrupted then chip production capacity just goes somewhere else and ASML will sell there.
