Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Absolute Genius!…JG,Nico,Bailey..this list goes on

I heard an interview a long time ago with David Cutliffe. He said when he was recruiting QBs and they were on a visit, he'd ask him what they wanted to eat. He said he always favored the ones that knew where they wanted to go without having thinking about it. He loved the QBs that were decisive. I always thought that was interesting

I was too but I was talking about Tony Gwynn. He could have went 0 for one year and still finished with a lifetime 300 average. Let that soak in a minute.

My pops talked about him all the time!..puts him and rose in the same sentence as “bat gods!”…loved Ken Jr. too….wasn’t TG career cut short due to his health or was that someone else?

Add this to the list of reasons why my wife would be a horrible QB then.

If that QB could go anywhere he wanted and he chose McDonalds, what did that tell Cut?
