True story. My wife texted me midday today that she got a couple tix from a business rep for me and the boy for Saturday. I’m like okay, sure. Check phone, saturday first pitch is 1pm, check weather, rain expected, check game tonight, no pitchers expected to be left for saturday.

I’m not gonna lie, I thought they would be better than they have been.

I just think it’s a bad mix of a young team and a new head coach (plus a major unexpected change in the middle of the offseason). As long as there’s not a mass exodus, I think they’ll be formidable next year.

Still time to sneak in the tourney this year and maybe make some noise.

I expected a huge drop off and I am seeing it. Elander is a first time HC and he is replacing the best baseball coach in school history. I mean I think there are some people who would be happy with firing coach E.

I think they will be a little better next year and much better in year 3.
