Her numbers look pretty good. She scored double digits in 12 of 16 conference games, with a few bad shooting nights sprinkled in. But all in all a very respectable freshman season. And she contributed a reasonable amount of steals, assists, and rebounds against SEC teams.

If she's anything like her sister, this will be a really good get. Sis was such a hard nosed player. She's currently in camp with the Chicago Sky. Hope she holds on.

I read that she was a Georgia commit before changing to auburn. The new assistant coach from Georgia has paid big dividends so far.

But does anyone else find it a little ironic that several of our players have very close ties to (gulp) an assistant coach?

I don’t think she is related to Aicha. Looks like Aicha has two siblings and neither are Harrisoum. I think she has brother that played in the NBA though. In any case, Harrisoum is a very athletic player who will definitely help us.

I went to check how Harrisoum played against us this past year, and it looks like she didn’t play in our game. She played against Texas on 1/1 and Mississippi State on 1/8, but she never entered the game against us on 1/4. Does anyone remember if they mentioned on the broadcast if she had a minor injury or was sick?

That player will be hard to find, imo.
No one said if would be easy because mobile, athletic bigs are usually headed to top 25 teams unless you can find a diamond in the rough. What are the chances? Slim and none, but we can always hope for a miracle. However, an undersized team, in the right system with certain skill sets, can be competitive.
