Let's say the stars lined up and it were possible to get Ament, Tanner and Harris all three. Our NIL is said to be greatly expanded, but that doesn't mean unlimited. Those 3 alone would push 15 large, no? Could that kind of $ be raised if it brought the Dream Team to Knoxville? Would we even pursue all three?

Maybe he’s just speculating off of the rumors he’s potentially heard about Tennessee’s offer. What if he’s not talking about Tanner at all? I’m highly skeptical he enters at this point and will believe it when I see it.

I still think we may not hear if Tanner enters tomorrow for a few days. Schools (to my understanding) can slow play portal entry announcements.
I won’t give up on the dream of Tanner until Tge weekend or confirmation from BTO or SF.

It’s not even practical because it’s too many mouths to feed at that point. I mean hell, it’s getting close to that as it stands.

Hill has already showed a willingness to come off the bench. If we really were to have all these guys, I’d expect him to do that again. Even though he is better than Ames.

Yeah I could see that working. Only thing with that lineup would be a hard stop on anymore bench signings. We’d be THIN on the inside, although Ament could play small ball 5 in a pinch. Likely no reason to discuss this though, as it’s incredibly unlikely. I’d give my left hand for it tho lol

Mildly annoyed by media saying that getting Juke is "personal" for Dusty May. And the only reason given is that he really wants him. Oh okay. That qualifies it as personal for just about every team in the nation.

Yeah, but we don’t hear about portal entries from the school, we see a tweet that the player is “expected to enter the portal”

It’s not even practical because it’s too many mouths to feed at that point. I mean hell, it’s getting close to that as it stands.

I think if you land all three then yeah, it would be a stretch to think we would have enough minutes to spread around but I really don’t think Ament comes back and in that case I think there are still plenty of minutes to spread if you added Tanner and Juke. Right now, our bench is really sparse unless you expect all 4 freshmen to be contributors next year. With Juke and Tanner, you’d have a really nice 8-9 man rotation and have some depth with the freshmen if injuries do occur.
