Nothing about UT’s portal activity this year should make anyone think that they won’t go after a specific player due to money.

Supposedly Pope was wanting NIL based on games played for Freeman lol. They had a big man from Colorado that wanted to go there but they put him on hold and he went to Florida State. Pope is just not good at this.

I'm not caught up on this so it may be old news by now, but Freeman has been hurt alot the last two years per reports. Kentucky has gotten burned by this with other players. I understand the concern. How many of these guys are juicing teams? Pope can't afford a guy to come in and claim hurt after investing in him given their recent history with this. By all accounts he's good though.

Not sure if serious. Unless he's changed drastically from his days at Kentucky (and playing for Penny tells me he hasn't), that is a hard pass.
