2026 Vols Transfer Portal Thread

I do wonder if you just slide everyone up and play both Dai and Lundblade from the bench.

Hill Jr
Juke
Haralson
Freeman
Rubin

Bench: Dai Dai, Lundblade, etc etc

Dai Dai, Lundblade, Brown is a nice trio off the bench. I feel like one of the freshman will get some minutes off the bench as well.

That lineup also almost gives Barnes his perfect lineup of having every starter 6’7+. (I could’ve swore I seen that somewhere)

Hill Jr 6’3
Juke 6’7
Haralson 6’7
Freeman 6’9
Rubin 6’11

I think Haralson was a take regardless, but curious if he's the option to play the 3 if Juke doesn't pick us, with that in mind...

PG - Hill
SG - Ames
SF - Lundblade
PF - Haralson
C - Rubin

Off Bench: Brown, Washington Jr., Scott, Green

Low Minutes: Clark & Troy (either might earn more minutes, Troy as he gets healthy and Clark as he gets experience)

Just depends on the feedback he gets from the NBA and where he may be selected. Only takes one team and he has upside despite some obvious areas that need improvement. He is a good athlete but not exceptional and I think he will have problems creating his own shot in the league. Lack of strength and his relatively poor efficiency at the rim despite being 6'10 is another. Mullins is coming back at UCONN without even getting a draft evaluation. Never know. If you had asked me a month ago about the NBA, I would have thought the chances of him going pro were 100%. I'm not as convinced now. He really isn't ready for the NBA but would be taking a risk coming back to college, if he got injured.
That's what insurance policies are for

Not worth even speculating a lineup like this bc no way we roll will that bench.

I mean if you want to waste time go ahead lol... But if our bench is Brown and a bunch of freshman then we are in big trouble.

You say this like what you're doing isn't also a waste of time...

Let me remind you, this is a forum where folks just post to do exactly that. None of us have any control over who is or isn't on this roster. It's all a waste of time speculating here.

I really like Lundblade as an off the bench microwave sniper. With that group, I'd put Haralson at the 3 and Brown at the 4. That lineup would have speed, size, rim protection, shot blocking, and a scoring threat at all five spots.

Yeah that was the other lineup I was thinking. But feel like they're going to want Lundblade on the court as a catch and shoot option until we get a better 2/3 scorer (like Juke).

But...Dai Dai is a great 3 point shooter himself, so I could see Lundblade being off the bench and letting Dai Dai be the starting option that is a catch and shoot guy.
