Ben McKee said most of the seats behind home plate were purchased by corporations. Which is why majority of those are empty.

That project sprang up as a requirement to keep the coach that won us a Nat. Those extra seats were absolutely crucial in keeping up with lead dogs in the SEC. People talk about facilities not being important but when you were that behind, you were a joke.

What DW did in that short a time frame is nothing short of amazing. This record has nothing to do with the facilities. The team sucks bc the offense isnt good. What invol said will happen.

David isn’t speaking from a calm, problem-free place when he writes this. He’s writing as someone who has known pressure—real threats, uncertainty, moments where fear would be the natural response.

And yet he makes a declaration, not a feeling.
“The Lord is my light…”
Light doesn’t remove the path—you still have to walk it—but it makes the next step visible. It keeps you from being lost, even when you don’t see the full road.

“The Lord is my salvation…”
Not just rescue in the distant sense, but active deliverance—God involved, not absent.

“The stronghold of my life…”
A stronghold is not fragile. It doesn’t shift with circumstances. It holds when everything else feels uncertain.

Fear tends to grow in the space between what we can control and what we can’t. David closes that gap by anchoring himself not in outcomes, but in God’s character.
He’s not saying there’s nothing to fear.
He’s saying fear no longer has authority.

Prayer
Lord, You see the places where my mind drifts toward worry—where I try to predict, control, or brace for what might come. Be my light when I can’t see clearly. Be my strength when I feel pressure. I think Harris and another big is realistic, but I wouldn’t rule out some big move out of left field. It’s clear we’re throwing cash around this time.

The Texas A&M coach was promoted with the preseason #1 team last year, had an awful season, and didn’t make the tournament. Very similar to the players wanting him. This season, they are a very good team, who just took the series from Texas. Seems like it took him a year to adjust and get comfortable. He wasn’t even promoted in October, like Elander.

I know people don’t want to hear it because they assume the worst. But you have to give him a couple of seasons to see if he can figure it out. This team is still somewhat young.

I do think he deserves time and hope he figures it out. Just seems like they refuse to alter the approach at the plate when it's obvious that the current approach is not going to work with this team. Need to try and go opposite field and just get some singles versus swinging for the fence every at bat. Some times you need to alter your approach and take a pitch or two. Play a little small ball. Just try something different.
