2026 Vols Transfer Portal Thread

Figured this was the case and mentioned this yesterday. We had to know that they wouldn’t go down easily, so I’m hoping we’re more prepared this year to go punch for punch in the bidding wars and not get too spooked like we did with Rice. We’ve done great in the portal assuming Hill gets over the finish line today, but we really need an elite scorer and “star” to give us a shot to break through.

We need a real big man not just a tall player. A guy you can stick in there when needed to offset some mongaloid guy like Michigan had this year and Purdue a couple of years ago.

Good post. I still say one additional defensive stopping big at least 6'11" would be nice with a decent basketball iq and good hands. He doesn't have to be an expected double figure scorer.

Close with Hill, Harris, and Use remaining money on Nate or Thiam.

I have a little inside info regarding TY because of some business activity that I accidentally fell into. I don’t think he is going anywhere. His parents are both encouraging him to stay at Vandy and build his team . The guy that told me this has a son that wears a Tanner jersey almost daily and Tanner has spoke at their church youth group on at least two different occasions. Things can change but I wouldn’t bet on him playing in the Orange. What’s bad is he grew up a Tennessee fan. Sucks but it is what it is. I will text later and see if I can find anything else out.
