Honestly, did he play better than any of the Michigan starters? Would they have traded any of their starters for him? I definitely want him back, but I don't think he's an auto-ring type player.

Didn't @MarcoVol give two examples of men's basketball teams that lost their entire rosters to the portal (because they fired a sitting coach) and that responded with an all-portal team with winning seasons the following year (i.e., this past year)? And better results than the previous year. I seem to remember that, but I can't find it.

UCF didn’t have a new coach but had a brand new roster this year.

Miami (FL) is best example. New coach. Big turnaround this year.

Thanks CRB! I thought we'd get at least 4 out of the portal but it looks like 6 or 7 is going to happen. The roster's already been upgraded with just the 4 that's committed. We still need a center, preferably a 7 footer.

2 million??? For 6 points? Yeesh.

Evans may have been 2 million. I know I was floored when I heard the number for what little production he had. I know he has alot of potential but hard to pay that much for potential.

Will be very interesting, but with the 5-8 guys who really showed out this year and the international players, I don't know that a team will take the chance.
