Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Went to a barber downtown Kingsport once, guy was a local legend. Went in, please reeked of odor. Guy had open cans of beans. I'm sure he was living there, and someone's grandad. Bless his heart. It was the worst haircut ive ever had. Try to do something nice...
Some people!

We return two WRs who went over 800 yards, a 1k rusher. A 5 star wr at back up, two of the most athletic TE's that Heup has ever had. And 4 out 5 starters on the o-line. I'm not buying what you're selling.
Our OLine was torched on the interior, watch Blue Chip Breakdown and Brooks Austin’s film study. Also VQ talked about it as well after the 2nd scrimmage.

And drops were an issue last year too, we just threw it 40+ times a game (because of a, guess what? A bad OLine!) so naturally the yards will be higher

Every player that qualified for the Masters had opportunities to play the course before the week began…..
I know, but not every player has access to a private jet, can afford to skip the lead-up tournaments, etc. Rory played Augusta more than a couple of times in the preceding weeks. Not really a level playing field.

It’s game on (at QB) with Faizon Brandon & George MacIntyre

Will WR3 please stand up?

Anthony Poindexter seems comfortable with four safeties

The linebacker puzzle is interesting

The offensive line’s interior pass pro must improve

Defensive line will be salty, but can they get to the quarterback?

I like Tennessee’s tailbacks, led by DeSean Bishop

Someone will surprise

There’s a lot to like about the freshman class

Imo, Chaz Coleman is either seriously sick or seriously hurt...or, a loved one is; and, I'm not talking about homesick, neither. From what Hubbs says here, combo'd with SF post from a week or so ago...that's my read.

Best wishes to the kid, hope all is well soon. In no way am I trying to spark what isn't there, always a very great possibility I am wrong...especially about that which I do not truly know. Just what my takeaway from it.

Our best guard was out. Perry isn't that bad, and yes Pendelton is a liability but coach will scheme that. WRs will be top3 unit on many people SEC rankings going into the season. I'm not worried about drops, I had much more worries about WRs going into last season. When you return two guys who almost went for a thousand yards what is the complaint? Then you factor in Keys and King, who maybe even better versions of MM and Staley. Again, you just like to worry.
