Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Thoughts on the o&w game:

-the only qb who looked comfortable was Staub, but it was with the 3s
-front 7 has a chance to be ELITE if they can stay healthy
-personally, i think FB should be qb1. Better pocket presence, mobility, quicker release. Gmac does have a better arm than I expected
-drops are going to be a problem this year, as is the deep shots
Defense will be big ? mark.

Offense should be ok bc wide receiver talent & experience.

Defensive tackles.

Tennessee: Defense is a strength, offense is dog ****.

God has a way of putting things in front of you at just the right time. My wife is in her early 40s and has been hit with rapid heartrate and high blood pressure issues the last couple of weeks. She's had an ambulance ride to the ER, two visits to the cardiologist (wearing a monitor for a month), and a full work-up from her primary care physician this week. It has really interrupted our lives and her work and still no solid answers yet. This conversation about heart issues has definitely given me some additional ideas to share with her. Glad to he a part of this great community.
A friend of mine's wife is in her late 40's and very fit and healthy. She developed those same symptoms after a tick bite. It has been a year now and she is still dealing with it. She even started takin BP meds.

No past history of hypertension?

I’m sure you have excellent docs. I’m also a believer that pts need to be their own strongest advocates. Cards and pcps many times don’t look at the endocrine system.

- aldosterone to renin ratio (for HT I would *assume* card has already done this one)
- metanephrines test
- 1 mg dexamethasone suppression test
- possible renal artery stenosis (needs ultrasound to see this)

Some of it is urban legend and bad internet science, but ticks really can wreck the body. I used to be cavalier about ticks, but after a friend got alpha gal, I'm pretty close to paranoid about being anywhere near them.
