Same for Estrella- no way a team pays him $3 mil - esp w/his prior foot injuries. He played thru the pain but it’s still an issue.

Estrella will be making a ton this coming year. He is highly coveted by several teams.

Decent statline but gotta improve shooting free throws. Not too off from Jaylen Carey's percentage.

Rubin will be here this weekend, he’s a clone of Okpara type player for those wondering, listed at 6’11” 220lbs, probably could afford to gain a few pounds prior to the season starting. Elite defender, both switching and shot blocking, good rebounder, offensively he’s a dunker and a lob threat. He would be a frontcourt addition, not necessarily a starter or guaranteed 30mpg guy, they’d still be looking for other options there.

I think Tennessee will have 2-3 other visitors here this weekend as well.

im still waiting on word of one of these big fish they say we are going after. ive yet to see one name that in my opinion would be a bar mover. we need a legit play making PG. at least two good shooters who can also go off the bounce. a 4 that can stretch the floor but also bang. and we need a shot blocker who can also get boards and maybe come close to a double double. i know the portal isnt officially out of this dead period. but i want someone that makes me go HE$$ Yeah.

Don’t know much about Ames. Stats are Nice, as others are saying the size is a little worrisome, but one think I like is Tony Bennett Brought him into UVA so he should be a stout Defender.

I haven’t got any word on our intentions with any of these guys, but I just wonder if we don’t want this guy to play a similar role to ZZ his freshman year. He could come in and spell either the point or the off guard. In my mind that is a really good bang for your buck to be able to get a true combo guard.

Especially if you’re big game hunting for your starters in those roles as I believe we are. You will have to be wise with your money if you’ve invested 8-11 million in just two positions and that’s not counting your bigs…
