No, but the new coach would probably bring some players with them, at least.

Maybe it just seems worse to me because the've been irrational nutcases from the moment her name was mentioned for the job.

Seemed on par to other forums in my opinion. Clearly some over the top nut jobs but surely you've seen similar on this forum at the least bit of adversity? How about the football forum? Yikes! In their defense she was a pretty big reach to take over a program with the legacy of the Lady Vols. Oh well, thrilled the BaseVols got the W tonight! Need to take the series tomorrow.

Cam A might be the best pitcher to ever don a Tennessee uniform when it’s done and dusted. He is absolutely filthy. We have a hell of a pitching team. Very good defensively also.

Time to play to our strengths. Move runners. Situational hitting and pitching matchups righty/lefty. We can win series this way over gorilla ball.

I think 2 things can be true at the same time. I think if you stick with her, you're committing to the long game. She needs to grow as a coach and leader at this level. I wouldn't have been surprised if she got fired this year, it gets fired next.

I do like her overall. But she has a lot to learn. If be willing to stick it out with her a little longerAnd not overreact too early...

It goes back to this: the LV program/brand is not one where you can learn on the job. Bias aside, the brand is huge and requires someone who knows how to both manage a locker room and manage a large fanbase. I do think Kim is an excellent coach, but I also think Kim is in way over her head. That said, at this point you only fire her tomorrow if you already have someone and they can start Monday. And that someone would need to be a flashy, really impressive hire. So unless Lawson—the most realistic choice, in my opinion—is wanting to come home, I don’t think you pull the trigger.

I don’t think that’s the case because they apparently came with the assistant. I really don’t think a new coach changes anything for last year’s roster.
