I was just a kid but I remember Don Devoe. Also remember Doug Roth?, red haired basketball player. Maybe that was because they made the tournament? Cool post, sir.

As I recall, Doug Roth was legally blind in one eye.

However, I don't recall him having red hair.

Maybe, but don't remember that detail.

WOW Hard to believe Rick has been here 12 years already. That's insane. And what a gift to have been a part of his time here. How many more will he stay? Bruce Pearl is still singing RockTop's praises if he chooses to bolt lol

Bruce Pearl 🤦 You don’t attempt to resuscitate the foreskin after the circumcision.

Yeah, he had vision loss in one eye and wore goggles to protect his good eye. He also had girlfriend who was at best 5 feet tall while he was something like 6' 10"

As the LSU student body continued to dare Doug Roth to shoot a 3, he finally did. Drained it, ran down the court flipping them off. Got T'd up but an awesome response.
I didn’t want to post that but, that finger is why I remembered him. I was only a small (chubby) kid then but that made the Nashville news! Lol they showed that replay.

You have to include Karen Weekly. Been with the LadyVols since 2002, named head coach in 2021. And LadyVols softball is one of if not the best program on campus right now.
She’s in her 5th year as head coach

i know you're only looking at as head coaches, but Fulmer's tenure as a coach started in 1981... you didn't indicate head coaches and I realize that is what you mean..
