just announced he is entering the portal.

Could be valuable in 2 situations:

1. When opponent is attempting a PAT of FG, put him right over center with his arms straight up. Dont know if you can put someone directly over the center but either side would work depending on the angle. Talk about psyching out a kicker!

2. Any short yard situation. Put him in at TE , tell him to go 1 yard past the First down marker or goalline and turn around hold your arms up and get ready to catch the ball.

He could play receiver, no DBs in the SEC would be able to reach that high and get the ball

Michigan made our bigs look like guards. Still we had a great season. But we need a few big athletic men that can defend rebound and score. And a few more confident pure dead eye shooters .

Other teams will just try to take dude out by the knees and he is so uncoordinated he may take down a few other guys with him

I can only imagine what all the resident weight watchers would say when they find out he's 15 inches taller than GMac but only 100 pounds heavier.
Is he heavier than everyone else? If so, I don’t get the comparison.

I’m reminded of Harold Carmichael in the thinking exhibited here. Granted the Phillie Eagles receiver was a true football player however his height in clutch situations made him almost unstoppable. If you put a
7’9” guy in a WR position at the goal line how much attention does he draw? Something somebody needs to think about imo.

Exactly, what's next a 365 pound TE and RB in goal line situations.

Oh there already is one:

  • Role and Impact: Proctor is a key starter on the Alabama offensive line who has been utilized in creative offensive packages.
  • "Running Back" Utility: While his primary role is as a left tackle, his ability to run after catching a pass in 2025 highlights his surprising mobility.
  • Versatility: Coaches have considered using Proctor in various roles, including at tight end or in specialized heavy-formation sets.
  • 2025 Performance: His crucial 11-yard catch against Georgia occurred on a play where he lined up as an eligible receiver to secure a crucial first down

Who is there in the SEC that has the height or the jumping to guard a 7'9 receiver tho? Gonna need fricking Dontavious to guard that dude

Use him in QB goal line situations. With his long arms and ability to lean over the line, he can stretch that Little Tikes football out and no one is going to rip it out of his massive hand. He could get us 3 yards by stretching over the line. We won’t even need an extra points kicker.

The guy needs to transfer to an NAIA school where he will be able to play. The speed and athleticism of D1 basketball overwhelms him to the point where he can't keep up. Go to a NAIA school and they can run a slower pace offense and he would be able to post up and make his slow motion moves in traffic against 6'6" centers.

He got very little playing time at IMG. D1 is way too fast for him, right now. Not to say if he went scomewhere and got a lot of playing time, He might get up to speed a little better

Tall, he is - speedy, he is not - at least not yet. Maybe just have him line up and then take 3-4 strides down field, turn and catch over anyones head. Poof 8-10 yards lol

If we line him up at receiver, speed would not matter, with his wingspan and height, he would be an automatic 3+ yards every time which eventually will end up in the end zone

Barnes should sign him--I don't care if he can play basketball or not...lol. I was shocked at how small our two 6'11' guys looked against that Michigan center.
This ain’t NBA 2K 26 where 7’9 players can shoot 3-pointers all day over every opponent.

Florida tried it last spring practice. The kid couldn't get any lift, Napier shipped him back to the pervert.
