If You’re An Illegal, Stabbing Someone Isn’t Enough For This County To Lock You Up

A liberal Maryland county released a violent illegal immigrant from jail early despite a request from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the agency said Friday.

Immigration agents captured Honduran man Rafael Aguilar on Jan. 13 following his release in Prince George’s County on a suspended sentence for stabbing someone in the back in April 2025, according to court records and an ICE statement. Democrat-appointed Judge Todd Steuart sentenced Aguilar to ten years in prison for assault, but freed him after 141 days with a chance to have the full sentence waived if he complied with temporary release conditions. Shots fired as Border Patrol agents intercept panga boat packed with illegal immigrants

This is the astonishing moment shots were fired as US Border Patrol pursued a panga boat packed with illegal migrants off the coast of San Diego.

Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations on Wednesday shared footage of agents chasing the vessel and deploying multiple warning rounds near San Clemente Island on Feb. 2.

The border agents could be seen blaring their sirens before racing alongside the small craft and ordering it to a halt in both Spanish and English.

The clip cuts to the small boat appearing to speed up and try to escape, until the officers moved ahead and cut off the vessel.

Border Patrol crew sent two warning rounds before the panga boat stopped.

The video then shows the agents boarding the boat, lifting the illegal immigrants into their vessel, and zip-tying them toward the bow.

Border Patrol in California later confirmed 12 people were detained, including three minors and one aged just 11.

California Democrats Push To Restore Full Healthcare Benefits For Illegal Immigrants

Two California Democrats have introduced a bill to restore full Medi-Cal coverage for illegal immigrants age 19 and older.

In June 2025, Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom and the state Legislature paused new illegal immigrant enrollments in full-scope Medi-Cal coverage amid backlash over taxpayer costs. The freeze took effect in January, shifting those already enrolled to limited-scope coverage, emergency and pregnancy care only, funded by federal dollars, while barring new applicants over 19 from full benefits, including prescription drugs and routine doctor visits.

Now, Democratic state Sen. María Elena Durazo and Assemblymember Joaquin Arambula have introduced Senate Bill 1422, the Medi-Cal Access Restoration Act, which would lift the pause. The bill intends to make individuals 19 or older without satisfactory immigration status “eligible for the full scope of Medi-Cal benefits subject to certain limitations, such as the payment of premiums and certain dental benefits.”(RELATED: Illegal Immigrants Are Just The Tip Of The Iceberg In Trucking Industry’s Troubles)

Trump Admin Puts Kibosh On Foreign Nationals Getting Gov’t-Backed Small Business Loans

The Small Business Administration (SBA) announced Monday it is banning foreign nationals and non-citizens from acquiring any SBA small business loans.

The policy change — which pertains to the SBA’s surety bond and microloan programs — comes after the agency enacted a separate policy on March 1 which made any U.S. small business owned partly or wholly by a foreign national ineligible for its 504 and 7(a) loan programs, according to a news release. Small business owners seeking to obtain any SBA loans are now required to be American citizens or U.S. nationals whose principal place of residence is in the United States. Migrant Tax Preparer with Two Wives Sentenced for $14 Million PPP Loan Fraud Scheme

A Palestinian migrant with two wives has been sentenced in Chicago to ten years in federal prison for a $14 million scheme involving kickbacks for filing fraudulent PPP loans.

Sharhabeel Shreiteh, 46, was sentenced to a 120-month stretch, the longest sentence meted out in the U.S. District Court in Chicago related to the country’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) launched by Congress during the Coronavirus pandemic, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Prosecutors found that Shreiteh, who worked as a Chicago-area tax preparer, received $740,000 in kickbacks for filing false PPP loan applications for about 1,000 clients. The fraudulent loans totaled about $14 million, prosecutors said.

The convicted migrant reportedly sent a large amount of money to the Palestinian territories to buy property as well as a Mercedes and other luxurious purchases for his wife and three children there.

But Shreiteh’s wife in the United States was apparently none too happy that he was sending so much back to Palestine and denying her and their daughter access to more of the spoils of his fraud in Chicago, the New York Post said.

During the trial, texts from Shreiteh’s wife in America, Hania Atiq Shreiteh, 52, revealed her displeasure.

“You suck!” his wife of eight years wrote to him in a text in 2021. “I bust my ass for 13 years and don’t have like she gets without working for it!”

“You gave her kids, a villa, now fancy cars?” she added. “I’m so sick and tired of being lied to by you.”

Hero of the Left Cesar Chavez Exposed as a Monster as Girls Make Horrific Abuse Allegations

Cesar Chavez, an iconic hero of the political left, has been posthumously accused of grooming and sexually abusing girls as young as 12.

Chavez, the charismatic campaigner for farmworkers' rights, gained international prominence with strikes and fasts for higher wages and better working conditions for migrant workers who picked grapes and performed other agricultural labor.

After founding the United Farm Workers (UFW) union in 1962 he became the face of the Latino civil rights movement and is still celebrated in murals at schools across the nation. His birthday is a holiday in states including California.

The two girls were both daughters of fellow protest marchers, and are both now aged 66.

One told the newspaper she was summoned to Chavez's office when she was 13 and he was 45.

She claimed he locked the door, led her to a yoga mat and sexually assaulted her, telling her 'Don’t tell anyone, they’d get jealous.'

She claimed he molested her dozens of times over the next four years.

Another claimed she was 12 when Chavez first groped her breasts in his office, and that there were further assaults for several years.

Dolores Huerta, who co-founded the UFW with Chavez, came up with the workers' clarion call 'Sí, se puede' - 'Yes, we can.'

She claimed Chavez 'manipulated and pressured' her to have sex.

Once, in 1966 in Delano, California, Chavez drove her out to a grape field and forced her to have sex 'against my will, and in an environment where I felt trapped,' she told the New York Times.

She became pregnant twice and arranged for the children to be given to other families, the newspaper reported.

Weird how little coverage this is getting. The liberal media is working overtime to suppress this story. These accusations are bigger then Epstein. Obama made a holiday for Chavez, Biden had his bust behind his desk in the oval office and Clinton gave him the Congressional Medal of Freedom. He is a Democrat icon if there ever was one. He has been praised and revered by every major Democrat politician for decades. Now they are tearing down his statues and renaming streets in the middle of the night with little to no coverage. RELEASE THE CESAR CHAVEZ FILES............

Supreme Court tries to Define Where the U.S. Border Begins for Asylum Purposes

It turns out that where the U.S. border begins, at least for purposes of asylum, is not actually clear.

The Supreme Court waded into that thorny question Tuesday, with the justices forced to confront whether migrants who make it in the vicinity of the boundary but who are still in Mexico or Canada are entitled to the same protections as someone clearly in the U.S.

Unsurprisingly, the justices struggled with where to draw the line, if not at the actual border.

“How do you know under your theory when the person is close enough that we could say they have ’arrives in,’ or arrived in, the destination?” said Justice Amy Coney Barrett, a Trump appointee. “How close do you have to be to the border?”

Under the law, asylum is open to someone either already present or who “arrives in” the country.

Immigration advocates told the high court that latter part means the law stretches beyond U.S. soil to reach into Mexico or Canada to cover all of those who are knocking on America’s door. Being on the “threshold” was good enough, said Kelsi Corkran, a lawyer for the immigration groups.

yeah, I think they might want to check with Mexico and Canada about the US just claiming people in their nation. a twisted US government could easily use that as justification to invade, or even lesser changes.

it really needs to be the hardline border, or any official point of entry that may straddle or cross the line.

the more interesting question to me isn't the land border, but the water one. US waters extend 20 miles outside the coast. inside those waters our laws rule, foreign ships and planes in that area are open to US intercept and is considered to be trespassing and can be asked nicely, or not, to leave and have it enforced by violence. I could see an argument for that 20 mile point being considered inside the US for asylum purposes.

Illegal immigrants nabbed by ICE do not have to face bond hearings, a step that has become a potential legal impediment to President Donald Trump’s mass deportation agenda, a second federal court found Wednesday.

The case involved Mexican national Joaquin Herrera Avila, who was captured in Minneapolis in August and failed to produce legal credentials authorizing his admission to the U.S. He was detained without bond and faced removal proceedings.

"Massive court victory against activist judges and for President Trump’s law and order agenda," Attorney General Pam Bondi said after the St. Louis-based Eighth Circuit reversed a lower court’s ruling and deemed many captured illegal immigrants ineligible for such chances to be released.

A district court in Minnesota granted Avila’s petition for habeas corpus, or to challenge the legality of his detention, which the Trump administration challenged.

"We reverse and remand [that ruling] for proceedings consistent with this opinion," the Eighth Circuit ruled Wednesday in a split decision, with George W. Bush-appointed Judge Bobby Shepherd of Arkansas writing for the majority.

Shepherd wrote that the district court relied on federal law allowing detention without bond for "an alien who is an applicant for admission [or] seeking admission…" while considering Avila to be no longer seeking formal admission because he had resided and worked in the U.S. for many years. But, Avila did not seek further residency status such as naturalization or asylum, according to the court, which ruled that aspect proved he was not "seeking admission" in a legal sense.

"The Eighth Circuit has held that illegal aliens can be detained without bond — following a similar ruling from the Fifth Circuit last month. The law is very clear, but Democrats and activist judges haven’t wanted to enforce it. This administration will," Bondi said.

"Imagine how many illegal alien crimes could have been averted if the left had simply followed the law?"

The Eighth Circuit’s ruling concurs with a related ruling from the New Orleans-based Fifth Circuit, which found that noncitizens can be held without bond, according to Bloomberg Law.

Oracle Faces Backlash over Thousands of H-1B Visa Petitions During Mass Layoffs

1775329929932.png

Thousands of Oracle employees received termination emails on Tuesday while the company simultaneously pursues hiring thousands of foreign workers through H-1B visa programs.

The New York Post reports that Oracle has sparked widespread criticism after it was revealed that the technology giant filed approximately 3,126 petitions to employ H-1B foreign workers during fiscal years 2025 and 2026, even as the company executed mass layoffs impacting thousands of employees. According to data from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, 436 of those petitions were submitted this year alone.

The timing of these visa applications has drawn particular scrutiny. On Tuesday, Oracle informed what the company described as thousands of workers across the globe that their employment was being terminated immediately. The coldly-worded layoff notification email, copies of which were reviewed by Business Insider, stated: After careful consideration of Oracle’s current business needs, we have made the decision to eliminate your role as part of a broader organizational change. Affected employees were told they would be eligible for severance packages subject to the terms of the company’s severance plan.

The contrast between domestic job cuts and foreign hiring efforts triggered significant outrage on social media platforms. On Blind, an anonymous forum for verified employees, one user described the H-1B petitions as a slap in the face of Oracle’s American employees. The same commenter added: “If this doesn’t make you angry, maybe you need to read some heartfelt posts on LinkedIn from Oracle employees who are US citizens and have been laid off after working at Oracle for years.”
