Potpourri

Sorry guys, I had not been on this web site in quite awhile.....Yes Glv, I did see the Great Santini, several times, and though it was simply great....RD was at his best....Also, the antagonist, David Keith was electric as the bully...When he shot the dogs I really got pissed off...Of course when they got him, I smiled a lot too....Also, Toomer was a scene stealer too....Hell the whole cast was outstanding....I need to see that movie again!

David Keith is from Knoxville TN

The last powerful scene in the series "Justified"......It was a series that my late wife and I regularly watched....At the end of scene I got a little upset, which my wife had never scene from me before.....I told her there is a closeness between guys (not sexual) that can never be equaled by the company of a woman....Nothing like a good pal.

Years ago, I had a girlfriend that could do this trick of being a fast clothing change artist...She was not this good, but not far from it....She was a fabulous, professional seamstress, that mostly made sexy costumes for adult entertainment dancers, to other show business type personalities on the west coast and Vegas...

For the longest time she would not show me how she did her fast change artistry...It was against her code of being an amature magician too...

On occasion, I would see a string or two that seemed out of place....And when the music was down, I would sometimes hear the sound of velcro too...

Originally, I was her security, because she dealt mostly in cash and had been robbed once, but when we became closer, I was allowed to see behind the curtain....It was a nice view.

I read a pretty funny joke somewhere recently, maybe it was here lol, I cannot recall. It’s a bit racy for this site, but throwing PC aside I’ll repeat it here at the risk of offending someone. SIAP btw

Two nuns are sitting on a park bench.
guy in a trench coat walks by and flashes them
first nun has a stroke
second nun tries but can’t reach…..

I’m heading to the bomb shelter now before incoming starts.

I've been reading some of Homer's Odyssey lately...I was awe struck by Argos, the loyal dog of Odysseus, that waited 20 years for his return from the Trojan war...As I have said before, there is nothing like the love of a wonderful dog...

Trying not to make light of the current situation too much, here's a few song titles that might be applicable. There are undoubtedly many others.

Hit the Road, Jack.
Jumpin' Jack Flash
Bad Moon Rising
Get On the Good Foot
Try a Little Tenderness
Rollin' and Tumblin'
Hellhound On My Trail
Danger Zone
Memories
Fool For Your Love
Landslide
Brilliant Disguise
Free Falling
The End
