Update: The twin's dad has talked to Kim about Mya's lack of playing time. and she has assured him of more playing time for Mya and they will stay with the team. Per source. This would be very good news indeed.(That the twins are staying)

Keeping Mia is a definite plus, but if your statement is accurate, a coach making that kind of concession to a parent (and it presumably being public knowledge) might not be such a clear win. Mya is a decent player and seems capable of holding down the proverbial fort in short stretches but she is also the caliber of player who gets recruited over and so do you tell another parent (not to mention the other player), yeah your kid is clearly the better option but I made this promise to Mya's dad so........

Unfortunately, CKC is not in a position of negotiating strength...... I am hoping that Pauldos are staying at Rocky Top but that your info about "the promise" is not correct. No disrespect intended.

This isn't good news at all, if true. No parent should be able to strongarm a head coach, especially the head coach of the Lady Vols. Nobody is bigger than the program!

In following the room on the twins their package and father maybe the big problem.
Mia is good but out of control most time Mya reminds me of an 8th grader playing varsity because of not enough players. If the current rumor of pops is true I'm sure this isn't the first time this year he has been vocal, I m sure the other girls hear talk too.
My opinion I feel Mia seems to be giving a lot of advice to some upperclassmen a lot in huddles that may not be well received. I don't think making the tournament fixes anything but we will see.

Good news? This is terrible and frightening. I hypothesized that this was happening 1 month ago and got told to “stop making stuff up” 😂

I know pumpkin has been right before, but this almost sounds like one of those “good news for the LVs” tweets wrapped in a ton of bad news intended to harm.

Curious the effort to make the Dad part public. Anyone with a pea sized brain can see thats very bad news. And if that’s really how this staff operates, explains a lot about the divisions this yr.

Im skeptical.

Unfortunately, CKC can't control the rumor mill churning out stuff about her program.

I too find this literally unbelievable. If a deal like this was made, it certainly would not be announced as public knowledge.
