Did Kiffin Make A Mistake By Letting Coleman Get Away?

Boyd would have had zero impact on any team this year. He may never have played at UT (as a qb) anyway

Oh I agree about this year, but he will give a solid 4 years of quality football to Clemson fans.

then why did you say we will know that by the end of this season? He has nothing to do with this season

and Boyd giving them quality football is very debatable. He really doesn't have that much to offer a major program behind center

NO, if someone truely dosent wana be here they need to make room for someone that does. i would have give an arm and leg to play QB at UT, but it wasent ment to be I always kinda regreted not taking the Only D1 offer (crappy MAC team) i had outa HS and going to a 1AA school and i think BJ will regret his choice as well.

I read that he can play this season if needed, I knew Crompton was gonna have the keys to the season the entire offseason. Im saying I believe telling Boyd he wouldnt play was stupid especially when u offer Brunetti just a few months later.

i dont think they truely want brunetti either, i think hes an inroad back into memphis recruting.

doesn't really matter since I doubt either would ever start for UT. I'd prefer a qb who can see over his OL.

Apparently Kiffin already knew that Coleman lacked the heart to be the man at UT.

BJ simply proved that point further when he quit the TEAM.

I believe I hate UTC players more than anybody. They all think they are the biggest stars and I never understood it. A friend of mine was walking out of a place down town one time and a player came out and was yelling "We own this town!" Somebody else didn't think so and smashed a rock in his face. Wish I could have saw it.

No, he threw 2 passes that should have been in picked in the second series against a DII school. He belongs at UTC

You obviously didnt watch Garcia play tonight. He is terrible and Monte's scheme will tear USCjr apart this year. I dont think Ole Miss will beat us either but thats for another time, another thread. Now back to the topic, why would we want Coleman? I want the best, not some quitter, with no heart who had every chance to start last year and couldnt cut it.

To compare Garcia to Tebow or Snead is like comparing Steve Urkel to John Holmes.

UTC is the worst team to land on a college field...of course he'll be a star there...i mean i've never even heard of Glenville State, they're probably a nobody so UTC will fill some seats for their first game and pump up the fans...and sell some tix to the next game...but unfortunately they are in for a rude awakening! lol.....should've stuck with the REAL UT BJ!!! ;)

Absolutely not, they are playing a crap team BTW. He did however screw up big letting Tajh Boyd go, and we will all know that by the end of the season. Lets just pray for Bray!

Boyd is redshirting at Clemson. He'll show us just how great of a bench-warmer he can be, I suppose.
