It's another offseason of uncertainty and hope and a loooooong one at that. With Joey out of the QB race, we have 3 contenders hoping to lead the Vols to many Voltories. Coach Knowles hails from Penn State and is bound and determined to make our defense one of the most elite in the nation - but can he turn this ship in one season? Vol fans are searching for consistency and only winning seasons yet, the rest of the SEC also continue to grow and improve their programs. Coach Heupel has proven himself to be a good recruiter but, it is time his players play up to their potential - which means they need good coaching.

We all want Tennessee to play hard, win and be respected in the SEC (and oh, by ESPN....), but this poll is to see what Vol Nationites are MOST excited about???

(and apologies in advance if I did not include a choice that you wanted)

Tie between quarterbacks and Knowles.Went with Knowles for the sake of the poll though because our defense was atrocious last year.

The biggest issue once again is not having any experience at QB. Every year we have to start all over again. We need continuity at the most important position on the field.

Hmmm, going to have to pull out the official "Volnation Policies & Procedures Manual" to see if selecting 2 numbers when you were asked to only select ONE choice is permissible???? Stay tuned....................

Bourbon, more bourbon and some Tennessee whiskey. That’s my answer and I’m sticking to it. How else am I gonna get through a 7-5 year. I’m hopeful for something better but I just don’t think it’s there this year consider considering the schedule and away games. We have a freshman quarterback, whoever it is. Neither of which has been hit by an SEC linebacker.

Heupel has mismanaged the roster since day one. Every year It's a new QB and the youngest team in the SEC, pathetic.

Since the title and OP did not specify only one choice, then I made the logical decision to choose whatever I wanted. The poll only allows one  official selection though. I exploited a flaw in the system.

I'm really excited about seeing the benefits of the new strength coach- just because it seems like he can make a significant impact so quickly. Hopefully the players can be more violent and explosive yet less likely to be injured. This coach seems really smart and like he has a comprehensive plan that is individualized to each player and position.

I wanna watch us steal a playoff spot. Or at least be in the conversation for an at large bid late in the season. I want the talking heads having to talk about us during a rebuild year
