The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

No, although it would be a very Titan thing to do. They love them some 31 year old players with declining production.
He was injured last year and still had 4 sacks in 7 games (really 5.5 games, given he got injured midway through the week 6 game). The production isn't declining. The injury is a little concern.

He is absolutely the type of guy you risk some money on when you have over 100 million in cap space. Who else are we going to spend it on?

Mhmm. And Ridley had over 1300 receiving yards 3 seasons before he got here. 32 this year and coming off an injury. He isn't touching 17 sacks.
1. Ridley missed nearly 2 seasons because of injury and suspension.

2. He was never a true WR1. His 2020 season was more the result of Julio Jones missing half the season rather than Ridley balling out.

3. Ridley still performed pretty well with us and the Jags for a guy that missed nearly all of 2 straight years of football.

There will be plenty of teams throwing contract offers his way. He will still be a darn good DE.

I didn't realize Linderbaum has pass protection issues.

In that case, give me McGovern all day. He should be cheaper too. Cade Mays would not be a bad option either. And I imagine there would be interest to move closer to move closer to home.

Hasn't Mays played more Guard than Center?

Chiefs grabbed a bunch of picks in the McDuffie trade. Could they be loading up to move into the top 5 and grab their OT of choice? They probably won't get another chance to get an elite OT prospect for awhile, unless Mahomes gets injured again.

9 and 29 would be a pretty sweet haul for us and it would give us 3 picks in the top 35.

Borgonzi took Oladejo in the 2nd for a reason. If all these edges have huge question marks, take Love he's a stud. Let Oladejo and Harrell get plenty of run with Johnson on the other side.

Sign JFM, trade a late pick and eat Edmunds contract, take a corner In the 2nd, sign Alontae or Woolen.

Take a guard in the 3rd, sign Biadasz he's good and way cheaper than Linderbaum, sign Pierce, cut Pollard, Ridley can stay if we don't need money, sign Goedert (or Otton preferably, a blocker is what Daboll will need with Helm).

Might have money to sign someone like Paye as well to have a 4 deep edge rotation. And possibly even enough to get a good young guard (Ingram?), or if Latham is a guard, I'm sure Daboll would love to have Eleumenor, but he might be too expensive. That's my expert opinion from many years of mediocre Madden records.

Oladejo is a project and he looked really bad as a rookie. Too early to call him a bust, but he's gonna have to improve dramatically.

We need an EDGE. Easiest solution is to sign one. There are plenty of quality options in FA.

Moore would have been nice. We could probably have gotten him for something like 66 and 182.
